There is favoritism. Some people receive warnings for doing what they want. Some people are special for mysterious reasons, and never get warnings.
 






lay off the managers--they do zero excepts falsify expenses, pretend to work, come out for 1 call and play around on the company dime. It's time we call them out and move them out--the tenured ones are the worst offenders!
 




































Layoffs are conspired out of goals not being met. They get rid of positions/people as a desperate attempt to appear to be a prospering company. The numbers aren't too bad right now.

Oh when will the next one be............?
 






Watching them lay off people that do their job and always help others is starting to be routine. It used to be sad. I have become heartless. That place destroys happiness and dreams.

Conmed mission statement for employees:

Shut your mouth and work.
 












I'll break it down like this:

Production = loser ville
Everyone gave up on their dreams. They will work until retirement/cancer.

Engineers = over worked/under paid
They're always looking for a better job. Unless they're lazy, then they will wait it out until they're fired.

Manager = money money money
They don't care about ANYTHING unless it effects their pay.

R&D = I don't think they care about ANYTHING.

I've so many attractive thin young interns come and go over the many years I've been there. If this company was "great", they'd still be there.
 


















So actually we had qualified managers (PMO) who were in touch with company objectives (RK) moved to a lateral position to allow the new culture of leadership to take command.......And now we have a Navy Guy who has no clue as to how this company works and as a result 4 of 5 Mechanical Engineers who were the bloodline of our Precision Operations have left the company and that is only the beginning.

I remember that. People were like "wtf". What we have left can barely keep up.

To add to this, (i'm not sure if it was mentioned), but PMO is understaffed and heavily over worked. So many parts need to be made to assemble so many work orders to send out to doctors. We're talking -100% safety stock on quite a few products. Doctors are waiting. And we haven't even begun assembling because we have no parts. We are going to lose customers.

If they let go of more engineers, we'll have NOBODY.

If they hire a dozen pmo people, then maybe we can catch up.

I heard they got rid of second shift tool room. They are clever at letting multiple people take on the role of one person who left/fired. Why spend money on replacing something when they can pile up everything on those who are still there?

Rumors for years on them getting rid of ALL third shift positions to save money on differential pay. Just leave overtime opportunities for those who want to fill a void in them with money. Plus third shift team leaders and area owners won't be needed anymore.

Layoffs will never happen again with the new point system. People are already contemplating an exit strategy. Everyone is talking about possibly quitting in January.

The company is going to limit how much vacation you can use at the beginning of the year, and you can't apply your time like personal time has been used in the past. Everything will be treated like vacation. You have to schedule ahead of time when you'll be sick or have an emergency to leave work OR ELSE you'll get a point. 10 points and you're fired.

They don't care how the employees "feel" about this change. They don't care if it wasn't your fault you had to call out and use your PTO.

Shut up and work. OR quit.

That's enough to make miserable people contemplate murder and everyone else starts questioning if their salary there is really worth it. :rolleyes:
