Can Somebody Set Realistic Goals Around Here?

Its easy to have Nestle roll down impossible goals and YES them to death quarter after quarter and year after year, who actually has the rocks to say "Quotas aren't realistic; lets re-evaluate and set the company up for success" We have some decent products and some strong workers left here; why keep setting everyone up for failure? We have been "behind and falling short" for so long people don't even hear it anymore. We need Positive Transparency from our leaders. Will anyone stand up? We have been patiently waiting for a long time!

This place is a joke.

Great post! Too many teams and employees demotivated by unrealistic targets. High turnover as a result.
Power struggle at the top, empty pipeline....what does the future hold?

The targets seem too high because you are weak, can't sell, and lazy as shit. Get out there and do something. Hit your target, or go back to working at Best Buy you r*****.

Thanks for the reminder TM about the qualifier for the summer acne contest. We are all aware that only TWO people in the ENTIRE company are qualified to make any money. What a joke!!! We will all be laughing when everyone quits.

Yep, complete and utter BS! Sales leadership, if you're out there, please wake up.

This place is a joke. Goals so high they have to continually adjust. 25 and 38 % over last year. What are we paying for? A bloated back office. People just meet to meet in corporate to justify their job. And do not ask how goals were adjusted by territory. Just pixey dust for the territories they want to keep afloat. Contest where no one makes any money, what a way to motivate. The mature brands are growing like crazy, and why is that? The sales team is cramming in demand. Are you kidding? This place is disgusting. At some point it is not the entire sales force. Pay the sales force that is growing actual revenue. Let's pay strategic accounts for Cetaphil though, a 1,500 payout for no samples and showing up for a couple of lunches. Hello? Someone wake up in FW. I am done. o_O

Employees are sick and tired of not reaching unrealistic goals. Motivation is low, recognition inexistent...something needs to change!

did you just get off the short buss?

ur indispensable. thought 'good ol boy' club was bad, nw grp is worse. 2nd level mgrs., from upstate hired 2 bring change, w/ tolerance for diversity, w improved leadership skills. instead nw mgrs. are locusts! rule by fear, control and manipulation. turning people against each other.

out-of-control mgrs. r making decisions w/o gaining approval or consensus from upper mgmt.

Too many production sites running at low capacity, too many research folks, empty pipelines, too many corporate employees justifying their jobs with useless meeting.
All this has to be paid for! No wonder targets are so high....The axe needs to fall.

I guess you missed the part where Galderma doesn't have the money to pay bonuses. The goals are simply a cost cutting measure. Why else would Galderma attempt to not pay bonuses to Rx last year and let go top performers that would otherwise be owed a lot of money? Sick place that uses and cheats sales people.

I love the A/C group. I'm making big bank!
