Cadence will be hiring soon

I'm not buying it. I think that posting is from a recruiter trying to getting good applicants to apply for the job. In this economy, I'm sure they can find a seasoned hospital rep to take the job for 90k. Just my 2 cents.

Half of the postings here are from recruiters trying to pump this company up. I have had 4 recruiters contact me on Friday about this position. I've also had a recruiter tell me a position pays $100K only to get an 85K offer after going through 4 rounds of interviews. In short, I hate recruiters.

4 recruiters called me for this job also

they are tripping all over themselves-- more recruiters than jobs

they are a bunch of losers for the most part and stupid as shit

This is an iteresting company. I can confirm the multiple hoops needing to be jumped through, during the interview stage. Must be that LLY guy again. The Scios connecion is also interesting. Seems like too much muscle for a modest drug..Shades of cotherix.
TF lives!

Can you elaborate on the multiple hoops during the interview process? My understanding is that there are only two rounds of interviewing before an offer is made. At least thats what my recruiter told me.

For anyone that has received an offer, can you describe the interview process?

there seems to be every agency making calls and contacts on this 150 rep design; from medreps to medzilla, I've seen postings for all of these territories. I've been told that I have a great background to you suck, the manager has a very narrow prerequisite; so has anyone been contacted by HR for interviews that applied online directly? Doesn't seem that the agency has that exclusive contract as originally claimed.

People not thinking this isn't that good of a product should re-think it again. As a ton of doctors and nurses will be all over this medication. Here is part of a thread from a Yahoo MD web site:

"Hello,
Interesting discussion going on here. I was just reading about Acetavance in Anesthesiology News. For your information, I am a physician (MD) and specifically an anesthesiologist. Although acetaminophen does have very weak anti-inflammatory properties, it is not considered an NSAID per se. This is generally agreed upon by the medical community when referring to NSAIDS; acetaminophen is considered in a separate category. And although by itself acetaminophen would be inadequate for the sole treatment of most surgeries, it will not be used that way. It will be used as an adjunct to other pain medicines in the hopes of getting a synergistic or at least additive effect so that the doses and side effects of other medications (i.e. opioids) can be reduced. This is called multi-modal pain management. So I think it has great potential as evidenced by its widespread use in Europe. I think it will be used a lot in pediatric surgeries where acetaminophen alone is usually adequate for children and works quite well. The problem with giving it to children now is that it is usually given rectally leading to highly variable absorption. The IV form will eliminate this problem. If approved by the FDA and available on our formulary, I plan to use it quite a bit. I hope this helps. I want to research the company a bit more but I think Acetavance is promising."

I totally agree with him/her as this will be used in conjunction with a lot of other meds to reduce opioids etc..

There is a opening in my area and I think I will interview... as I have the background. Just not sure on company culture etc..
