Unfortunately our industry is so bad and reps are just seen as a joke by upper management and marketing that we're all stuck trying to convince ourselves that companies like this are worth working for. Sorry they didn't want you...you just don't cut it. Stop being sour grapes about it. Another thing...no one really gives a crap about the product itself. It will however become a hospital staple. The real selling point with this company will be the working environment and being treated like an adult versus big pharma. The money will be there as well.

I know you are one of those who never made $100 vial, or maybe sold a few at that bonus, but never were in the top money, because if you were you would run like hell from a joke like Cadence. Just look at the CEO, RSL, RM, DN, and all the other jokers, where is Batman???

I have never worked for Big Pharma... You are all fired up because this is the only gig who gave you a chance and its not working out. I would never work for this company it's full of ASS clowns. Do you really think the only reason someone has something to say about the XJ&J Idiots would be because they had a problem with an employment opportunity not going their way.?. (Someone lived a shelter life in BIG PHARMA)

I totally agree with the above comment as well. Yes, it sucks that there is an approval delay - but that is happening everywhere. Nothing is approving on time. Eventually this drug will be approved and it will be within the next 6 months. The negative comments on here are from losers that didn't make the grade. Ask yourselves - why would any of these people spend time on the Cadence board and make comments? If this is such a loser company, then why are they wasting their breaths? The fact is that I do know many of the upper management and they treat their employees with respect and as adults. The money will be very good, but not like the good ole days. Let's us just hope they get approval sooner than later. If you have to take a temporary job until that time, then do so.

One thing is certain...most of those who have signed the contingent offers will be the first patients on this product upon approval. This is one big fat headache. Wait...that will probably be off label. Ouch..!
 












I can't believe all these morons! Stop posted negative comments...if you think this is a horrible company then move on and stop wasting your time and ours. The product isn't the number one reason why this is a good option. This will be a great atmosphere and they will treat their employees like adults and the pay will be decent.
 






Well crap. Good crap I guess. I just got myself into a med device opportunity that is competing with my Cadence offer. I love Cadence and have used this great amount of time to interview and push the envelope with other companies....including my own. I wasn't sleeping well knowing at the end of each day, my Cadence opportunity...while good, left me making the same money as my current job b/c of Cadences' lack of benefits. Even with a stronger base at Cadence, I am behind in the long run with the car expenses-no 401 match-higher per month health costs-no stock. The device job is a huge cut upfront with most earnings in commissions. The real interest for me is 2nd year earnings potential along with great benefits starting day one.

How does one gamble commission job vs biotech base pay in todays health care industry? Guess my real interest is in Cadence to bump up what they can. I know it's tough right now with the delays. Good luck to us all.

Good luck with your decision - t is definitely a tough call. Device companies can be hell as well, but I agree that Candence's benefits absolutely suck. They really need to think about bettering them.

You must be so proud. If every account isn't fully identified and every current P&T member isn't currently identified, then your leaders are morons. They should be asking all the managers for this information and if they don't have it, then they need to give reasons why. It is abolutely ridiculous to pay these managers high salaries if they are not making the best use of their time. Now is the time that the managers should be out in the field collecting information - of course, most are too lazy to do this. Anyone that is onboard currently should have every pivitol player identified in EACH account. Those that are on the payroll should be working their tails off right now to get this completed.
