Can't believe that this post is still going! Most of the people involved are gone now, except for the infamous "big chops". I don't really believe that blacks were not welcome at Linvatec as in the original posting. I do belive that several of the coaches in the production area had bias's and have heard them state some questionable views, such as "don't put any attractive women in my area. They are to disruptive to all the men who work here." , and others have balked at having older workers in their area.
Re the "butch coaches", some are just older women who wear their hair short and act that way. Some have some real gender identification issues, and several are very gay. Most don't let their personal issues interfere with their employees, but again some have been accused of bias against feminine and attractive women.
Overall, I would say that age and gender bias is more prevalent than racial bias.
