Blacks Not Welcome at Linvatec

Once again our omnipotent so called coaching staff at Linvatec has denied yet another qualified (african american) candidate to work at our facility. The very qualified candidate was working for only $9.00 an hour as a temp and has a child at home to care for. Unfortunately for her she was interviewed by CB also known as Bigchop who for some reason shot her down. If you saw Bigchop and spoke with her you could see where this is going. Mirco management will be the downfall of this company if this is not nipped in the bud asap. The well qualified candidate is not only qualified but cute and also young and a size 3. Can you see what I'm getting at???? So much for Linvatec/Conmed being an equal opprotunity employer as African Americans are less than 1% at our company. It seems that we are more keen to hire refugees who do not speak english although we get a huge federal kickback for doing so. I work with refugees all day and I can tell you that the quality of product produced suffers due to lack of understanding from there american trainers........Johnson & Johnson.....help!!!!!!!

Have you been a cave for the last thirty years? Your comment is the epitome of an ignorant jerk. America is a GREAT nation of Diversity, and Freedoms. Apples never fall too far from the tree, so I do not blame you for your ignorance. It is apparent we American's need better birthcontrol or education. It is obvious 1% made it pass it's protective barrier, here is where you can attempt to help yourself.

Why is it that every time a black person doesn't get their way, they call it racism?

Suggestions:

Birth control aerosol to be emitted free of charge from WalMart ventilation systems.

Birth control to be given to men only, from here on. THAT would cut down on the rampant birth rate, immediately.
Why hasn't this been ever discussed? Women, for whatever reason, have not yet learned to support one another. They continue to go for each others throats, for reasons the media and asshole male dominant (that includes gays who want to make a killing off us, telling us how to dress, make us over etc) . This leads to suggestion #3.

Women, of all color unite. Refuse to allow anyone or anything to make you feel like an object again. Thats right, for every insulting commercial for weight loss, that you see a female spokesperson, call/write/annoy the hell out of the company and complain. Why is it that there is never a fat males spokesperson? Next time your beer sucking insulting and insolent sloth like husband makes a crack about your girlfriend, mother in law or any other female in his wide angle view, slap the shit out of him.

Insist that men now be spokespeople for diet pills, diet programs, make overs, reality t.v., porno, teens out of control, celebs out of control-focus and all the other demeaning things women are subjected to and some, even sign up for. Why aren't there male counterparts to the media focus on Brittney, Paris and their ilk? Do you think they don't exist? Come on ladies, get it together. You have got to stop chewing up and spitting out your own.

Women unite, all colors, now.

You know that's sort of funny and I'm guessing that by your response you do not have any African American friends. Just an FYI on me. I was born in the USA and my parents are white. My grandparents are white and my mother is from Birminham, AL. My grandfather was a high ranking official in our state government and I was raised in a family that saw no race and that is just how it was. Not to say that I was blind to the conflict in the 60's and I feel for you as you seem to have a continued prejudice for African Americans. Just my personal opinion and you can say what you want here. Thus the feedom of the USA constitution. I have a question for you to ponder.....What if by Gods hand you were born in Dafur???

People, please consider what you are saying, some of the statements above are just hateful, and do not reflect the feelings of all. Hiding behind the pseudonym "Anonymous," doesn't help you will be held accountable, someday, for these actions of your heart/mouth. Venting is one thing, but... wow. Personally, I would rather not get a job, based on the condition of race/gender or whatever. I have worked hard for my education, which I had to work hard to pay for myself (guess I'm just not "perfect" like mrs obama), but I do have something to contribute! Being color blind is far better than any "equal opportunity" program I can think of! God would say He created one race, the HUMAN RACE!

With all due respect......I only ask that you prove here and now what you are claiming. Names, etnicity, position held. The 400 political refugees do not count as we (Linvatec) hire them with the condition of financial benefit from the Federal Government.

Just what is it that you think that I am claiming? My comment was in regard to all of the earlier NASTY remarks towards people of other ethnicities! I have worked in my field for many years and enjoyed positive working relationships with persons from many ethnic backgrounds, and this extends to Linvatec. I speak a couple of languages and understand basics of a few more. I enjoy the ability of communication with many people others just write off! Hey, do preconceived notions, glass ceilings and good old boy networks exist? They certainly do! Ever been reduced to persona non grata status because your beliefs? For standing up for others? It is not really OK. I have seen atrocities on both sides of the ethnic fence...so yes it happens! We can't MAKE people respect us, you know? Those people who back bite/make those slurs will heap more on themselves ultimately. What I respect is people whatever their are those who ethnicity who SHOW UP FOR WORK, READY TO WORK, with a GOOD ATTITUDE, AND PUT IN AN HONEST DAY'S WORK. Honestly, didn't see that much at Linvatec, and trust me, those were NOT the people who were esteemed. And, NO, I will not list anyone's name position in this venue without their permission to prove a moot point to anyone, whomever you are. If you have questions or would like to initiate a grievance with regard to the hiring/promotion practices at Linvatec, perhaps you would be best suited to contact Human Resources. *the comment about "perfect" mrs obama was in reference to statement made by her own husband.

in all honesty, "quote feature," was not feasible in this instance, as several posts in the thread contained the type of base comments which i was responding to and made it difficult to use the feature easily -perhaps laziness on my behalf? ;-), plus, the name of the general thread seemed broad and offensive to me as well. notwithstanding, i really am sad that this post came about mainly because someone did not get a position she was qualified for, and felt cheated (sometimes, if you do your job too well, you may threaten insecure people, no matter what your ethnicity/gender/size...). also consider this: it may actually mean that something better is in store for her now, a good position that will be friendly to her family, this is what i hope for her (true character shines through).
also please, accept my apology as well for any added confusion in this truly sensitive issue. not my intention to stir what is now a politically charged and divisive pot. imho people -on both sides- will just not let these issues heal. we can all be rational human beings, we all have this potential, some just choose not to. remember: we were all created to have two ears and one mouth....this for good reason.
