Biohaven Pharmaceuticals

Agreed. Biohaven launch will suck ( if they do) and there is no way they can compete. No one wAnts to speak for them and they have over hired and over extended with money.
#goodluck#suckers
Way way way overhired. There will be 2 Allergan reps for 6 or 7 Biohaven reps?!? And AGN will launch way earlier and have specialists locked down and the product covered on a lot more plans? The Biohaven story is a cute little idea but these realities are what they are. In the late 90's/early 2000's before the PBM's took over a company could overhire and the share of voice alone would power a drug over a competitor. Completely different today.

I recently was called but I am concerned about the data that was shown at the last investor conf. It shows the product we are launching does not have good data or better than allergan. I think we are going t be wiped out. I have not asked about this but does anyone have any insight?

What data did you see?

Jeez just google it. This is gonna be a tough sell, managed care will probably require multiple triptan failures, the efficacy does not look overwhelming at all. The company bearer be super aggressive in pricing and contracting to hope to have a shot at launching this.

Have you ever launched a new medication? Let's hope you are NOT a new hire and if you are, your DM is a dumb dumb.

No, you are wrong the product data is not that impressive. The Allergan reps will hammer that and you will be playing defense on every call. not to mention the other three injection on the market. The docs who use those product will NOT give those up because of reimbursement . good luck my friend , you will need it

Number one I didn't ask for your "luck"; number two I've launched dozens of drugs in my lifetime and the obstacles are always the same.. this is what separates the men from the boys.

Any one think this new company
Biohaven Pharmaceuticals new
oral acute migraine drug will
be any good ?
Will insurance pay for it ? or only after the triptans fail ? could be a hard sell because of insurance ?
What kind of a question is this?? Will insurance pay for it? Are you a seasoned rep? Of course insurance won’t pay for it! Especially from the start. Get ready to do PAs, pull through and all the other nonsense we have to deal with. And, of course, go against monsters like Allergan to fight their new drugs. Good luck!

That's the saga of launching ANY NEW MEDICATION to market. Allergan (AbbVie) will have the same hurdles don't kid yourself.

This troll has nothing better to do than come on this board and talk smack. Which company do you work for that is so great? If you're even employed why don't you go over to that board and blow your hot air. What a Sad life you live.
