Biogen verbal offers 275k total comp

Well Biogen verbal offers are out.
Only a couple Xeljanz reps got offers , so mgt can hell chill & loosen up!
(1 Xeljanz DM offered.)

$275k yr total package for reps.
(Salary, Bonus, RSU Stock, plus ESPP)

Looks like they matched what Gilead verbal offers have been to reps the past month.
(Gilead raided Genentech & BMS talent like Robin Hood)

That's an insane offer if it is true for a drug pusher!!! There are many doctors that don't make this kind of money!!

RDs is over 400k package!

-175k salary
-50k bonus
-50k annual Stock (all reps & goes up w perf)

Comical someone with no knowledge posts & immediately gets called out.
POS primary care rep i assume or one of those day dreaming 127 reps who crashed Biogen job posting site !

these numbers are NOT accurate. $175 is high and highly unlikely, target bonus is $44k and stock is closer to 15-25 as a Rep.

more realistic numbers:
-130 base (median)
-44k bonus at target
-8,500-15k annual stock award at plan (3 year vesting period).

RD’s are equivalent to DBM’s at Pfizer. No way they make 400k Ttl comp. Closer to $275k at plan.
 








Because he was at Biogen for 10yrs & cashed out w stock, now w Amgen and also lot of stock. So he knows all about Biogen and biotech companies.
Not all pay big total yearly packages. Most big Equity-stock to get rich but the establish ones also pay high salary, bonus & RSUs.
Biogen Genentech Amgen Gilead
Rep packages w the annual STOCK all employees get is 275k a yr.
Managers 400-450k a yr.
(Salary & Bonus is awesome but the real riches for reps is the 100% Co STOCK
--- as my new house was paid off w Biogen Stock)

How many years have you been removed from Biogen? You need to talk to some of your friends who have been RECENTLY hired in the past year. The orginal post is accurate but actually a little low.
I went over to Biogen from Genentech and they matched
my salary or 177k,
target Bonus was 50k uncapped,
and they gave me 50k of stock as a sign on and 30k a year min and goes up with performance.
1st year I finished in Top 20% and stock was 60k of RSU.
Dont try to downplay the financial rewards of others when you are stuck & financially miserable at Pfizer who is at the 48th %tile in compensation of the Pharma Industry.
Be happy for others or improve your own life
