OK OK, here's the truth....this guy is awful. He interviewed me once, had me read " one minute manager" and follow up on a call with him for a capital sales job. I sold capital (copiers) for 3 years before getting into medical and I didn't have a bad record at capital selling. However, the book had no correlation to the job, and secondly when we got on the "follow-up" phone he acted like he could give a rip and I could tell right away this guy made a living off of forcing other people to "take the fall" for him. I immediately declined to participate in the process any further with him, and he was removed from his post at Stryker within a year. As far as the other leadership team members are concerned, i have nothing but the highest respect for the former ArthroCare team. They turned a failing company around, and into a 330 million dollar business with one line of OPUS anchors, and the most comprehensive RF bag to date. The bulk of those sales figures were in wands too. That says a lot, so to sell off to Smith Nephew was a no brainer as they were manufacturing wands for them any way. That team will turn ConMed around, but it will be a battle as the sports and endo markets are only getting more and more competitive. As far as BP is concerned, he's useless and he reminds me of the "teflon kid." Will be a matter of time before the ArthroCare boys catch on to his game playing.
