No heads up to the reps is bad. They knew several days before because it takes time to do the tear off sheets. Why did they do this to the reps?

Of course sales are going down but profits will be up. I'm not sure if bonuses were calculated into the $2.2 million loss arising from free rxes in the first quarter, but that is potentially another $400k. This was a crappy program from day one, not Lou's fault, that was embraced by managers and execs looking purely at sales volume. This program should have been stopped dead in its tracks when the bleeding started.
 






I think most people knows we needed to do the change but what reps are mad about is the dumb a$$ move by loser Lou that we were not told until last night that the changes goes into effect today. They knew the change was coming for weeks because it takes time for legal to approve the tear sheets , print and then ship to the reps. Lou is a sorry pile of crap to put the reps in the position we find ourselves in today. Yes I am leaving as soon as I find another job because I need a pay check. I just hope I find something before the door closes at Iroko. Best of luck to all of you in finding a new job.

All this chicken little the sky is falling talk is crap. There will clearly be a sea change here, but don't expect to go anywhere else in pharma and expect things to be any different. Management has put the reps in a tough spit with their customers here. How many reps are going to a get an earful from their customers over rejected scripts.

And I have to applaud Josie for having the nerve to call the management team on the carpet for sticking her with setting up a CC on such short notice. Shame on management for not respecting our personal time and prior schedules on such notice either. I am hard pressed to understand why this couldn't have worked on a slightly longer timeline to give us time to save face. Good and necessary plan, piss poor execution!!!

I guess it's nice to have a practical boss who doesn't believe shit has to roll downhill. If my boss can constructively criticize my performance, I'm all for it. I'm an adult and understand what may make a difference. I'm not a pedantic little prick who is too thin skinned to know when my boss makes sense and when he is just passing shit down.
