They offered me $120k base, but they had 4 reps where there should be 1 max. Many companies don't even have 1 rep in this area. The base doesn't really matter if it's a guaranteed layoff within a year.

Yes! I enjoy the culture here & feel like I’m treated well. I’m happy.
My base is on the higher end at $135k but I do know that’s an exception. Target bonus is $40k per year uncapped.

BUT… our pipeline is very undesirable. The few things we had have already fallen through. This is def a one drug company. So one of two things will happen. We sell Nurtec for about 5 more years, then lay off some sales force and just squeeze out the last few drops for another year or two before closing shop.
OR …the most likely scenario is we sell our company to a bigger company like Pfizer, Biogen, etc that had plenty of money to buy us and they need products badly.

This is 100% a short term job. So you can enjoy the show at the moment but I’d advise you to also keep up your contacts with other companies and be prepared to move on if you find a company with more stability.

If you used to make $100k a year in base and now you make $125k base, then how long will that extra $25k each year last when you’re unemployed?

Damn, they offered us outstanding bonus kickers q3 and 4 2021… 15K on top of quarterly bonus! More money to be had this current quarter. This company is incredible. RSU’s each year - great #1 product to sell! A great boss too! This is not a shit show here at Biohaven it’s a great place to work!

yes, get a booster. Also make sure you get HPV vax. Some dirty people here. Good to be prepared.
