AZ Contract Questions

Some of the managers here have not sold in more than a decade and are clueless about sales jobs today. Some have very little sales experience and more than some belong in another line of work.

I hate to break this to you since you are obviously a pompous, self obsessed dimwit but if you are in pharma you don't "sell" anything. Real sales is nothing like the silly BS show and tell world of your pharma gigs. So get over yourself. You would not last a day in real sales and the funny thing about that is you have absolutely no clue why that is. Your managers are not managing sales people they are managing product spokes models with next to no true business skills.

Good point poster. Doubt if anyone with pharma sales experience as their only sales experience could sell big ticket sales. So reps and managers alike have to think about getting out of this dead end career.

Managers should be required to be a rep for 6 month every few years. Start over from basics. If most had to sell again they would learn things have changed,

Would seriously not entertain this position. Th spay is poor, bonus structure much less than any contract company. territories are huge and the car allowance and mileage do not cover wear and tear on your own vehicle. In addition, AZ diabetes Franchise is schizophrenic and way too much overlap. Questionable of the contract survives without being pulled. I am being honest and do not wish to see someone apply and find out what a nitemare they have entered. Good luck in your job search. Publicis as a whole is the worst contract group out there.

They are known to provide reps with little traning while expecting immediate results and without the standard 3-6 months learn period. The result is a revolving door.

This is correct, some managers expect you to put in 60 hour weeks for the small income we make. People just leave and they don't look back

If "people leave and don't look back" then why are you on here looking back? LOL I swear you CSO hacks are a constant source of amusement. No wonder these are the only jobs you can get.

Manager stating the facts. If a rep has a bad experience with the job, with the managers or in what they were told to expect they move on. We can lose good people. Transparency is crucial in these jobs.

My experience also. The job is just dumping samples, no access to physicians (doors slammed), delivering pizza's, faking notes and lying, and getting abused by my manager. Big crock during the interview. I'm out.
