You are a complete moron...your gonna tell any of us that you have the ability to switch a fellowship trained PS surgeon to a CR surgeon with your great skills? Think again cock sucker!
 




































There was this guy named John Insall, he was a pretty decent surgeon. Used PS didnt feel he could reliably balance the PCL. Most surgeons these days do minimal "balancing" of the(I'm not saying gap balancing) ligaments beyond the arthrotemy and osteophyte removal. Know why? Its unpredictable. Please tell me how much of a "release" you get when you "pie crust" an mcl. YOU CANT tell me because you cant quantify it.
 












I've seen surgeons put in CR knees that were not close to being balanced and PS surgeons get a knee as close to perfect as possible. CR versus PS is a philosophy not a skill. Would you rather have a CR knee by a small community surgeon or a PS knee by one of the thought leaders. If they are using your implants, they are happy, and their patients are having good outcomes what does it really matter?
 
























A thought leader is an individual or firm that is recognized as an authority in a specialized field and whose expertise is sought and often rewarded.

You act like being a consultant is a bad thing. There are a lot of well respected surgeons who make legitimate contributions to the orthopedic community and various companies.
 






Don't understand the concept do you? Surgeons doing it on their own, Respect. Paying surgeons to make them feel like they are contributing while just using them/their name to sell an unproven product. Hogwash. During the ASR times, over 200 surgeons were compensated over 80.8 million dollars in one year. I wonder how many used ASR because of it? You must not be that experienced, and less then 10 years in. We used to fly surgeons to the Bahamas and basically hand them a nice brick of cash in their wifes favorite brand of purse. When those days were taken away from us we started doing same thing and called it consulting. The bigger the surgeons ego the more money we get in the long run with business. Sure we might get a good idea every few years, but this model is to pay for business.
 


















Been at this a while. I've seen all kinds of agreements and under the table stuff. It still goes on with some of the smaller companies today. Regardless, top surgeons in Ortho community are still great surgeons regardless of whether the are compensated for their time and ideas.
 






After the survey looks like surgeons are bailing on attune. Amazing how many actually got back to us. The majority all address the same issue, which you are allready trained on. No worries, they are not upset, not gonna switch companies.
