Actually, I agree with the other post. You are actually the moron. The corrupt ranking report needs to be addressed and none of us "need to give it a rest," as it affects our livelihood and families. You are probably one of the idiots who profited from gifted and undeserved additional accounts. I'm right? Yes, of course.

Also, it is so sad to state the obvious. But here we go... One more time... This site or "venue" as you put it, was created for people to vent their warranted frustrations. It is a forum to do so without retaliation. If you are content and happy with everything at Cadence, then why are you wasting time on this site?

You are either:
A. Randy or Scott
B. Another upper management slug
C. A sub par rep that sucked last year and now received additional undeserved accounts and are getting ridiculously undeserved praise and bonuses
D. A sicko brown-noser who has no life

Ok. Understand. What do you think the company should do with those accounts? Leave them uncovered? Each one of those according to my manager comes with history and it is not usually good history. So, it is not a gift unless you consider 70 cents on a vial for a low base a gift. I can't imagine a scenario where it is over a few hundred dollars. I still don't get it.

You don't get it b/c you are not accountable for your rankings. Or, you are not in the top 10% unfairly getting passed by this process. One account added or 10 accounts added to a territory automatically GIFT vial potential. Even at .70 cents a vial in a low account pushes original baseline into growth vials compounding earnings which pushes up the rankings of recipient. Add the accounts that are high performing and you might understand at $4/vial how much incentive it is hoping your partner quits and you get their territory accounts GIFTED to you. Maybe this makes sense. Example of rep in my district made extra $15,000 per quarter above original territory payout b/c of gifted accounts. Higher rankings. More stock. Going to presidents club. If you don't get this, then you're trying not to get it. Liberal!

I agree with you. It's like Management determined who they wanted to go to Costa Rica with and then gifted them accounts to make it happen. That's why I had 2 interviews last week. You've got to leave this place because you can't trust these people. I've spoken with other managers from Genentech and Scios that knew these people...wish I had done it before taking the job. They're not good people.

Well said. Somehow the ranking report issue needs to be anonymously exposed in such a way that management has to address the issue. Any ideas?
 












I have an answer. Lets have an "ORIGINAL TERRITORY Presidents Club awards trip". Who can expose the gifted reps (nothing personal) and organize a discount for a 7 day group cruise or 7 day all inclusive resort package? Maybe we could extend the group rate at the Costa Rica Resort.

Qualified Candidates must have original territory since launch. NO GIFTED ACCOUNTS.

So that makes it better? You are a total idiot! I would love to be gifted accounts that were not producing and have the chance to increase my sales. Now more than ever with the ridiculous IC plan, it is much better to have accounts without high volume as your chances for growth become much more attainable and you will make a lot more money. Anybody would gladly take any additional accounts, but it makes it very unfair to compare to those that haven't received anything extra. I could care less if the accounts were doing great or not. It still gives the person who received gifted accounts greater potential for sales and growth in the future.

You make one of the key points for us. Gifted accounts thriving or not still tip the balance of baseline growth, potential growth, larger payouts, and better rankings. It is not just baseline volume. It is a bigger outlook from gifted accounts and their entire sales history. During the quarter accounts were gifted, the baselines were not adjusted, therefore, letting that quarter reflect unearned growth, growth vial payouts, inflated commissions, and accelerated rankings take effect. Next quarter baselines adjusted, but not during the gifting quarter. Damage was done. Problem compounds infinitely until territories are realigned to reflect equal potential again.
