I was thinking of going to HR, but after reading this-NO WAY! Sadly we are on our own if the right thing is to be done. I am really having problems with my boss (inappropriate) right now. Any advice?
I am sorry to say all that has been written about going to HR or filing a complaint with the "confidential" 800# / third party website is NOT the thing to do if you:
#1 want to keep your job
#2 don't want to be discriminated / harassed even more
#3 your life made such hell to break you into quitting.
I highly recommend contacting an employment lawyer, document everything, and save all emails and documents on a flash drive (do not leave on your company computer they will wipe it all out). Also save voice mails on another device.
Once you either have a new job or want to get out of the hell and not sell your soul to the devil. Go through the proper channels and go to HR, file a complaint with the "confidential" 800# / website (a third party - I know first hand that these complaints go absolutely nowhere). HR and management will make your life a living hell to get you to quit, but hang in there because you'll end up being fired and then you can go after Astellas with all of the emails, documents, voice mails and whatever else.
Unfortunately, this is what Astellas is all about - covering up and destroying anything that could hurt them.
By the way with the new computers and Windows 7 all emails go directly to servers and they have access to your computer.
