Sr. management at ARI lied to everyone they said and I quote (make your mistakes you will not be let go for making mistakes) what a bunch of BS if you like walking on eggshells work at ARI!!!
All the managers at ARI are not to be trusted they lie right to your face. You also have to watch HR ther are worse nothing but two face liars. I was let go because of fabricated accusations and since then many more have also and more to come. They are reduceing the work force this way. People should walk on eggshells because you never know if you are next.
Withholding the WHOLE truth is just as bad as a lie. Upper management will not give us the whole story about how they wish to achieve their short term goals. They also know that changing to the present shift structure was not a good choice, but they do not want to loose face, so you will never here them admit a poor decision on their part. They have cut the training budget, and eliminated any and all overtime or flex time so we can adjust our shift hours to attend the same training that are available during the weekday shifts. Hmmmmm, Lie, withhold info, failure to develop their reports and build high performance work teams...How about flying the gay pride flag for a whole month right next to Old Glory!!! Doesn't this condone and give the okay to commit a sin? How many Amgen values has Amgen themselves violated?
Us gay folk are in control at Amgen and we are the engine that makes everything run smooth.

Not everyone some can get NC'S and make mistakes even bag others and nothing happens especially if you are female.
It seems they are not through firing/RIFing in the mechanical and instrumentation craft. I found out something I was not meant to....Tired of the upper management pulling the wool over my eyes by saying "it isn't so...no changes coming....no RIF". Time for me to start job hunting if this is how its going to play out!

I hope you are correct i can't wait to see the people with a attitude now get brought back to reality of 11% unemployment in RI. Bet this new economy we live in now will change some attitudes real quick.

This is obviously false, you r*****. The instrumentation craft is hiring, and mechanical is operating at capacity. I'm not saying no one will be fired, that clearly can happen to almost anyone at any time. But to say there is going to be a mechanical/instrumentation RIF is one of the most blantant and obvious cases of rumor-mongering i have seen (and on this site that's saying something.)
