are you part of the team?

Sorry you didn't get hired either. There are exactly 3 TSM positions open SF, Indy and 1 in NE. Thats it folks. Hired TSMs are in a 2 week Home Study program.

Thanks all

YOu seem to have some good insight, when is the launch meeting, why can nobody answer this question if the sales force is already hired and has already started training. And how do you know these 3 areas are still vacant? I get the feeling it is more than just these 3 territories that are not filled. I guess there is no hurry, but something tells me it is more than 3. Did these reps back out and not accept the original offers? Would like to know if these reps declined and what they knew to decline that maybe we don't?

Who do you mean as the "we" in the "..that maybe we don't?".

Some regions are mtg the week of Feb 7th. Nat'l launch is week of Feb 21st. Only 3 left to go, but interviews continue for "back-ups" in case primary choice turns it down.

-60 territory sales managers hired
-average base is 122,000
-national sales meeting fen 21st in Florida
-bonus target 40k TSMs and 72k RBDs
-has 12.4 million in total sales since December

Say whatcha want, somebody is buying this shit. I was one of the play it safe folks who stayed with big pharma, hate to say it guys but I'm still stuck in my little box

Product was made available, and started shipping in late november. It's out there. It's the promo launch (including sales force) that doesn't get rolling for a few more weeks while company finished up interviews and the onboarding of those selected. I hope you found that at least marginally useful.

Great product!

Lets translate this to truth and not fiction.

56 reps hired, mainly cast off's and desperado's from companies where the hiring manager was either fired or at one time their "master". Nepotism was the first requirement for job, managers only hired reps who they knew they could push around and get to drink massive volumes of kook aid and lie to the clients without any remorse. They made sure that reps had no qualms burning bridges and were willing to do this for the temporary job. Sad.

NObody is buying this shit. That is a bold faced lie.

The people I know, one being a family member who were offered this temp CSO job were all under 90K.

Stock options are worthless.

NO company car, will lose money on the allowance after factoring in ALL costs.

Bonus target is utter bullshit and with no prior history or any realistic projection of use of product the bonus could be 200 dollars or 5K, depending on if any managed care has been contracted in your territory, most territories this is a BIG NO DICE ON COVERAGE.

Why come on here an post such high school bullshit? Why make this out to something that it is so far away from being and fictionalized? You need serious help and sound so insecure and incapable that it makes this company look so fundamentally remedial that it is frightening.

Savient books revenue when Krystexxa ships to the distributor. So, I could easily believe 12.4 million in sales even ahead of actual patients. If this is true, I think it's a pretty good start.

I laughed out loud at this. Do you understand the concept of "irony?" Probably not, people who take themselves as seriously as you appear to don't usually "get" humor.

Son, a high demand fully oversold 200+mm convertible bond issue is not fiction, and is certainly is not high school bullshit.

They used to do senior preferred convertibles all the time at Anonymous's high school. He went to the special school where all the geniuses went, and had their own investing club with a net worth of 2.5 billion. That's how he knows so much about everything, he's got an IQ of 240.

12.4 Million is a great start. Was that before the 60 sales hire?

All I can tell you is that if they do report 12.4 MM in sales without even a full salesforce the stock price is going to fly considering the market thinks they will not post any rev on the drug. If you have any clue how the market works you would see that there was a huge demand on the convert notes and these buyers know more then the general market and most likely know where the co.'s valuation will go if they have had good traction on sales these first few months. So like I said if they do have that rev in sales so far this co. valuation is going to rip higher in the next few months.

a small dent in that 12.4 million will be made...then the rest will just sit there as this product sours

an anonymous, ambivalent drifter or troll wouldn't waste their time seeking out the sav board here to post something, whether positive or negative. yours appears to be negative, which seem to say that you are not ambivalent but have some kind of interest Savient. SImply put, what is your motivation for the posting?

in the interest of full disclosure so we can fully appreciate your perspective and/or bias, can you inform the board what your interest in savient is ? shareholder ? shortseller ? former employee? disappointed sales position candidate ? current employee ? CEO ? spouse of a former employee ? an MD ? infusion nurse? financial analyst ? Other ?

You appear to be somewhat informed and solid in your opinion, so I'll respect that and ask what is the context of your remarks ? We'd all hope you'd be objective, but biases can be appreciated also, especially if we have an idea of the source of bias. It all balances out at some point. thank you for sharing.

not many launches are successful when the reps don't respect the company or management...savient has done a good job of undermining the most valuable resource right out of the gates. RBD's are really not a traditional RBD...they are fucking cast off slimy managers like the asswipe in the Northeast.
i agree with above poster. new starts will generate mild hope, then it will flatten out real quick as the "real" issues surface...tolerability, claims being denied, etc. savient will burn the bridge to the rheumatololgy community...it will happen sooner than most think.
