April 16, 2012 US Supreme Court Oral Day of Vindication

i have mixed feelings about this.
On one hand I hope the suit gets dismissed. It will change pharma for the worse.

On the other hand I hope it stops those dreadful IE meetings that never amount to more than lectures from management & useless role plays.
There's only enough relevant material for a one day meeting.
But it never fails they always need 3 days.

Maybe being paid overtime for the senseless overnights would put a stop to senseless overnights.
Oh yeah, the forced dinners too.

You don't like 1 day of information being squeezed into 3?

Is there any truth to the rumor that these companies got together to pool money in order to PAY the Dictionary companies to change to definition of "SALES"?

The definition of "sales" was changed in 2009.

Things are getting down right spooooky...

LOL....I wouldn't put it past "them"...

I can hear the alledged phone call now.

"Hello, Webster, Pfizer here. How about we make a contribution to buy 10,000 of your dictionaries, if you change the definition of sales.?"

Sounds kinda far fetched but I wouldn't put it past em.

Doesn't look likely that the Supreme Court is going to side with the Labor Deparment, but we'll see.

The Pharma lawyers have done a number on making them believe that pharma detail reps/sample droppers are Sales People.

And yes, the definition of sales did change in 2009, so it does make one wonder. It changed to state "anyone Representing a company" rather than just the exhange of goods and money.

If I were the Supreme Court, I would investigate why the change in definition took place and who changed it.

Sounds far fetched, I know but I wouldn't put it past the Pharma industry to change the universal definition of "Sales".

WRONG....

In less than 30 days, the US Supreme Court will announce its verdict on OT. It appears as though Pfizer Inc, being the largest employer of pharmaceutical healthcare representatives will be on the hook for many millions in overtime.

Second, being that TBS and ES are the worst Pfizer Inc colleagues in Michigan and are two peas in a pod, they will see their respective demise during the next downsizing, so says my people in NYC - 42nd Street. There is no one to protect them in NYC.

Good luck Pfizer Inc!
