Anyone else feel good about Mark Booth getting the can and a TAP guy taking over?

Mark communicated with the field? Are you serious? 6 years he was here...he sent out like 3 voice mails and only spoke at the NSM to reps. Please...after Dean left it was so rediculously seldom we ever heard from anyone in upper management until DO's v-mails began trickling in...3-3-7 BTW...

Count yourself lucky that you did not have to often hear from one of the most boring people on the planet. All this guy could communicate was marketing jargon and scripted statements. Nothing original, creative, or useful to field sales ever came from Booth. In the current environment, glib talk has no value. Does anyone know where he landed?

Wherever he is, I hope that his pathetic flunky, Andy Hull, follows him.

Hey-the new leadership is GREAT. Look at us now-bloated with way too many people, Prevacid going generic this year, Actos going generic in a couple years (thats about $7billion gone bye bye for those of you keeping track)...and we buy Millenium for almost $9 billion (can you say desperate). World-class!!!

I was really excited when TAP and Takeda merged. From what I understood from TAP reps, their pay was better and I looked forward to finally getting paid what a typical pharma rep makes. That this not only never happened, but that I was told from management that TAP and Takeda reps make exactly the same is extremely frustrating. Now that the economy is in the tank, I'm in an even worse position to negotiate for a raise. I wish I didn't have to say, "at least I have a job" as consolation for why I make less than my TAP counterpart.

It is stunning how far HR and management will go to pretend that the Tap/Takeda salaries are the same or similar. After hearing this line of BS for months, I finally asked my manager point-black if she would swear on the life of her child that my salary was equivalent to my Tap legacy co-worker (who had less experience, BTW). You should have heard the stammering and stuttering. I think it lasted for over 3 minutes.
