Anybody heard anything ?

Then why would you leave if you're number 1? Serious replies only!

Because the company I loved to work for was recently acquired by a big pharma "piece of crap" company that I would rather not work for. The culture is different and micromanaged. Autonomy will be gone, company cars, crappy healthcare insurance, risk of being laid off since they have a history of doing that, the list goes on and on. I dislike big fat bloated big pharma companies. They wouldn't know how to treat a salesforce if a snake coiled up and bit them. Seriously, Im not sure how ANYONE can work for these Merck's, Pfizers and Novartis. They are terrible organizations in my book...

So yes, I would love to stay if my company I started with was the same, but not after this acquisition. Once you work small biotech, you will never want anything else.

I know of 8 reps so far that have had face to face interviews and will most likely be getting offers. 3 are ladies from NC and work for Sunovion. Good luck to all

This is total bullshit. I know face to face interviews are going on because I have one next week in the southeast but there is still a panel interview and no offers will go out until May time frame according to the hiring manager I have interview with.

Didn't say offers were made. Just said I feel like they will get offers after the panel interviews. Great reps with strong track record. And yes, the May timeframe is correct. Hope that helps

I am in the Southeast as well and haven't heard anything since initial phone screen, but it does look like it will be Sunovion, Jr.!

If that is true then they are the dumbest company on the planet. Not saying that Sunovion isn't a good company or suggesting the reps are subpar but hiring SOLELY on CNS experience again is bullshit. I've heard the hiring managers are novice and not much experience and they are already making stupid mistakes by focusing solely on Sunovion. They're are so many talented reps out there that would blow Sunovion reps out of the water. If these new Alkermes managers were smart and more tenured they would know better than just focusing their search criteria just on reps with CNS experience. You want a nice mix of experience and talent, not just a "Sunovion Jr." company...

If that's the case, they deserve to fail.

Wow fella! You sound a little psychotic! No Sunovion managers in Georgia, SC, NC. Also, only mentioned 3 reps out of 8 that were Sunovion. You may be a candidate for a clinical trial. Hope that helps.

If you read all of that and think I'm psychotic, they you are the one that needs help. Just speaking the truth.

Get a life, Sunovion rep....

Why so defensive?

Is Sunovion jr bad?

Never said it was bad. Did you actually read my post? "Sunovion Jr" was a term somebody else posted, not I.

But yes, I think ANY company that's loaded up with ONLY one-type of rep is stupid and clique-ish. Anybody would agree a nice mix of "types of reps" would be good for any organization. Maybe a rep that is great with the clinical, high-science stuff, maybe one that's more of a relationship-type seller, maybe a rep that understands the payor markets perhaps, One that has excellent business acclimate and understands complicated customer markets and being able to "connect the dots" when it comes to heathcare systems. Being a rep nowadays requires so much more nowadays than just product knowledge. To me, if I was a hiring manager, I would form a team that's well rounded not just a bunch of disgruntled Sunovion reps looking for a quick payout. That seems to be a waste to me.

Sorry, but that's just the way I feel about it...
