Wow!
As you know, we have recently completed our merger with Allergan and have aligned our new business lines to meet our new objectives. We are taking this action to adapt to the market with new products & processes. Unfortunately, this action means that restructuring with in your department is necessary.
Due to this restructuring, we have come to the decision to eliminate positions within the organization. It is with deepest regret that I must notify you of your position being eliminated from the organization."
[/QUOTE]What the ever loving crap are you talking about? And what fictitious division do you work in? Can’t wait for January so we can stop seeing these idiotic posts.

Asking your DM is a waste of time. ZS carves out the new structure, hands it to Abbvie, and your DM finds out just a little bit before you do. DM's have no input in the process nowadays.
With Ironwood laying off 35% of Linzess sales force hopefully Abbvie will have some openings.
Dec 1 seems to be the designated day...good idea to begin updating resumes..there are some smaller companies looking g for experienced reps
Yes, that is why Ironwood is laying off 35% of linzess sales force so Abbvie can hire for the vacated positions.
My understanding Its not 35% of reps. The 35% includes their home office staff as well

The Allergan employees who insist they’re getting the 52 weeks must not have read the fine print. The above is from the “legal document” they bragged about and claim to have. First, This isn’t a legal document/contract. Second, it’s not in transaction agreement and Third it was rescinded before merger.

That is what Allergan is built on. Plus we get paid 1/2 to 1/3 of what Abbvie reps make promoting multiple products. So attention to detail can be overlooked to make share holders happy. Why would Abbvie keep incompetent Allergan reps who’s lack of attention to detail is evident based of the above ? Word is 12-16 weeks severance and 35% headcount cut on first round of cuts.
