Any guesses on when layoffs will happen?

Yep.. not knowing its part of the agreement that Allergen would get 52 week severance proves he is an embittered ex employee.

Keith lied his ass off and you fools bought it. Everybody’s talking about it here. There’s nothing in acquisition agreement in regards to ANY amount of severance for you. Clocks ticking.....12 weeks MAX if you’re lucky.

The change in control agreements are for named executive officers, NOT for sales reps. It applies to vesting for nonqualified stock option and restricted stock/restricted stock unit grants that would be accelerated upon an Allergan change in control only if there is a qualifying termination. Do I need to post link to Allergan PDF?

Red font guy makes solid, logical points. Predictably, the opposing response is to call him a ‘effing tool.’ Classy. This is what the left does when they can’t argue their case. They insult. Not working. Keep an open mind and try making your point next time without f bombs and insults.
They can’t compete intellectually and have a low iq. Definitely not a sales rep. Probably a unskilled laborer line worker from Abbott Clonmel plant in Ireland.

Blah blah blah same story different year. Always SOME layoffs every year with every company. Depends on how lean each division and district are and how their numbers are. That’s it. And yeah, Legacy Allergan REPS not EXECUTIVES have the merger LEGAL document outlining the 52 week full pay change of severance that embodies ANY lay-off within the first two years of the merger. Spare me the PDF you won’t post bc it doesn’t exist. Thanks bye. God speed.

Oh right there’s no 52 weeks full paid severance just like the reps laid off didn’t get MORE than the 52 weeks full paid severance. Regardless of if you were 10 years in or 10 days. The jealousy gets old.

Allergan elected to terminate existing individual change in control agreements with each of its named executive officers. Upon the termination of these agreements, the executives became eligible to participate in the Allergan Change in ControlPolicy, which provides severance and other benefits in the event of an executive’s termination. It applies under specified circumstances and within two years following the Allergan change in control. The policy eliminated tax gross-ups and altered the cash severance calculations methods contained in the previous agreements.

Pretty good inside sources tell me that Dec 1 is what some DMs have been told...then again ,home office rumors are usually way off...who knows, maybe we continue this mess until a vaccine is found and then things go back to normal...whatever normal is within Abbvie.

Better be prepared IF Abbvie is going to do layoffs. The most recent round (April) they gave no warning to the reps, just a call out of the blue with DM or RD and HR saying good bye.

The transaction agreement has nothing In it pertaining to change of control.
Allergans own disclaimers above states “The Company reserves the right to revise, supplement or rescind its compensation and benefit programs at any time for any reason to the extent permissible by applicable laws“ Definitely not getting 52 weeks. Better start looking for work now because it’s going down before end of year which is coming on like a jail on wheels.
