Instead your attitude prevents you from seeing the value and opportunity to get more of your time back when you get home.

Wow, you are pretty fucking naive. Touchstone was sold to the field as a territory management tool. How many times during roll out did sales leadership deny it would ever be used for tracking. HA, what a joke.

Getting in and out of my car all day, buying lunches for people who really just want the free lunch and waiting for docs to sign for samples is a mindless job. Yeah, I get to interact with staff and and get in a quality call at times but we all know this is a BS occupation. And before you say it, yes I am looking for a real job. Do you know what people in offices really think about what we do? And they are right.....we are glorified catering sample droppers with a company car and a nice salary. A chimp could do this lazy a-- job. Oh, and let's not forget all of the skills you aquire out here in the field - NOT! At least when I was inside I learned skills you can use from industry - industry. I can do better. Bye bye.

You bet your sweet ass that these cuts are coming to AZ. Unless you have been living under a rock of denial you should have seen this one coming a long time ago.
Merck, GSK, Pfizer, Lilly, Abbott and soon coming to a theatre near you. 50% cuts in DSMs, RSDs, ASDs, and MC PSSs spread over a period of 12 to 18 months. And when it happens, don't say you weren't warned.

Everyone who commented to this post are absolutely correct. I got fired late last year from AZ and it is somewhat of a guilty pleasure in seeing what the rumors, though often have some truth to them on CP. All of the posts have some truth to them. Yes they got the 3G technology to increase productivity, and the company is trying to secretly down size too much to hire an entire sales force to be big brother. BUT, understand AZ is in the swells of a huge witch hunt. Anyone who is called into HR for blowing their nose the wrong way are looked at and if even the original complaint didn't stick, they'll find one that does, and the person who made the complaint, they too are now suspect. So if the technology that was sold to them happens to have the ability to look at someone that they want to go away, then it's a bonus that will be utilized.

And yes just not faking calls and truly working will cut your risks, slightly. but we all know what the climate is out there and even the most self-righteous of posters have sat in a park somewhere and put a call in.

Lastly for all of those beforementioned Self-righteous kool aid drinkers, if AZ thinks they need to shed some skin and you're the one who draws the short straw, AZ will win and just like those of us who you may think are (or were in my case) lazy fucks who will get (or did get) what we derserve, you'll be gone too. And at the end of the day fired is fired.

How many times they denied for tracking? Ummmm.....never. We have always been held accountable for calls per day and other metrics. They are called JOB EXPECTATIONS. We all have the flexibility of picking up our dry cleaning, getting in a dental appointment, and maybe even hitting the grocery store. HOW DARE AZ expect us to also call on 9 customers a day per our call plan?????? and then MONITOR those expectations??? the NERVE! Try a 9 to 5 job in a corporate setting and then cry to me about monitoring.
