Weird name for a company. Company started by two 20yos. Any good?
Two wealthy frat boys on their daddy’s money, decide to combine two generic drugs and market to the ALS population. What could go wrong? ALS centers are already recommending their patients go and buy these OTC supplements. The only scripts you’ll get is from the community docs that don’t know any better
Anyone hear of salary etc yet?
Anyone do the panel interviews yet? Was told 2 weeks go was moving forward not a word since. Surprised they would lie to me. Just tell me if not moving forward for gods sake!!
I heard 130k for the KAM position
Relax dude, they are interviewing a lot of people with only a few managers. You know the time table so chill out, would think with your lack of calm you would be a cancer in any start up situation so if you don’t hear anything and it’s February then, ahhh, soooo sorrry you nooo get job.
Tell who ever told you that they have no idea what they are talking about, have you ever sold or launched an orphan drug? If so, you should know what the going rate for that skill set is.
I wouldn’t exactly characterize it as a position that’s going to require any highly special skill sets. it’s an oral drug with a simple moa with very modest efficacy. The patient population is very desperate for a new therapy. Also I believe they’re going to hire TLLs , which diminishes the value of the key account managers role.
The FDA likely will be doing an advisory meeting prior to the PDUFA date so that something to keep an eye on.
this could be a good opportunity but I think the jury is still out.
Had virtual interview with hiring manager and her manager today. They didn’t even bring up the comp plan which is fucked up. Think they have a game changer in this drug. Not so sure. Anyone else getting any feedback on comp plan with your interviews?
No. Didn’t say shit about comp plan. In-
house recruiter told me not to bring it up. Said they would. Total BS..
Not true, house recruiter asked initially what were you making now, if you didn’t listen or ask what their range was then you suck at interviewing. Comp. plan is very comprehensive and for those that have been privy to the particulars you would agree. Keep in mind this is a start up so remember you will have to have skin in the game to help the company survive when cash burn is high with nothing coming in, don’t like that then this isn’t for you.
