Amylin Contract to End!!







I am a BMS rep trying to figure out how things are going to happen. I think the Amylin contract is here to stay. Contract reps are less expensive and as good as the direct hire reps no matter what anyone says. The rep comes down to the individual situation on performance.

I understand that you guys just got Onglyza to sell. I think this is a good sign that you will be kept.

I know you sell Bydureon but what is your third product? The third product could be the one that tells the outcome of the contract.

the contract is over, BMS has already announced Legacy would remain in their roles-they were purposely vague about the future of synergy. announcement will come the 3rd Monday of January or at the latest the 3rd Monday in Feb. BMS already has these days on the calendar for separation notification.

Then how do you explain the 30 or so new hires that just started on the Synergy contract this week?
 






The contract pays for a full sales force, Ventiv is required to keep the positions filled for the length of the contract whether there are 2 months remaining or 2 weeks.
The good news is that Synergy will have the opportunity to interview for open positions within the new alignment.
The reality is the contract was for one year and that year is about over.
 
























Ive unfortunately worked in contract many years. At one time.....best place in the world ...awesome managers great promotion opportunity ...development key....then came people like Tom Williams and Frank Dolan....wow how ugly things became....good luck...run from this contract with a vengence....
 






I couldn't agree with you more. I have also been in contract for many years and very successful. In all my years never came across people like Frank and Tom. What an eye opening experience. Needless to say I will never work for contract again, even though direct is not secure either, I feel the quality of people are better. Sad what happened to a great industry.
 






I was talking to a rep in my district and she said BMS is going to keep everyone because in order to compete with Novo they will need at least 4 reps per territory. I'm not sure I agree.
 






I do not agree with that BMS rep. Our manager is having all of her reps update their resumes and send it to her for critique. On field visits in February, we will be conducting mock interviews so we can practice for our next job.

What a great manager you have. Ours is requiring us to continue ordering the max amount of samples even though there are too many samples in offices now. My partners are asking me not to sample so much but am still required by manager to order max every month.
 












The Legacy reps were recently instructed to set up a BMS use rid and password in the BMS system. Did Synergy get the same instruction?

Legacy reps instructed to save the days in March for computer training but no location has been given yet
 






I am a synergy rep and I have never been so disrespected in my career then here at inventiv. Tom Williams is a numbers person NOT a leader. When there are questions on the table Tom runs and hides. Have not heard a wink form him this year until he posted a bunch of crappy contract jobs (that we can't post for, yet). Man up Tom tell everyone this crap storm is ending.

What about 1st quart comp plan?
What about having a job past April?
What about just showing other respect, like you demand?
