Amylin Contract to End!!







That would be a good assumption based on the history of pharmaceutical acquisitions. However, I worked directly for AZ and was displaced a few years back so they could add a contract rep to sell nexium. Their belief is the CSO reps cost less and are equally effective.so it could potentially go either way. Only time will tell
 






Where in the HELL is Tom Williams. Amylin gets bought out and Tom doesn't hold a conference call to say anything. Tom sends email that don't say shit but he can't address real issues. Note to Tom get off your ass and help someone besides yourself. She the sales team you kinda care. We are the ones out here making 25K less then Amylin reps while you sit back and count your money.
 






This is typical for contract world... the field is kept in the dark till the 'call' that contract is over..inVentiv is hired to make X number of calls period.. it is not involved in any details of what the big pharma client is making..they'll let inVentiv know when they want us to know. as for pay, 20-25% is fairly typical from what I have seen... (it sucks, knowing that we have less resources, higher activity standards, and just as much knowledge, experience)

He told those dumb shits on the Xigris contract jack shit, right up until the day that they pulled the drug from the market. Williams is a turd. Your problem is that you give a shit about your job, and don't see it for the fallacy that it is.

I believe Tom Williams just launched a Customer Service Representative Team for Eli Lilly.
inVentiv just launched this team this week. The reps will not be detailing, just sample dropping to physicians that have a low decile value for specific products. If anyone knows anything new please update. Tom must be working 2 projects at once.
 












It was crazy to think for one minute that BMS would renew the Amylin contract! Why would they spend money on a contract when they already bought a little over 300 more reps?? They're already looking at territories that need downsized Jan 2013 that have too many reps. They said what they needed to keep everyone working to bring in money to make up for all the money they spent buying Amylin. We are getting our Onglyza study materials soon however, no one has mentioned Synergy... doesnt smell right! I'm on the Legacy side and I don't like the games that are being played but this is what companies do in buyout situations! Lets hope the severance package is real... no one has gotten it in writing!!!!!!!
 






how could this Tom Williams be put in a leadership???? He is awful does not give a crap abput the people. Inventiv wake up .....pay more attention to who you are paying the big bucks to....give it to someone who cares....what a joke
 
























Is this contract really ending?

I am a BMS rep trying to figure out how things are going to happen. I think the Amylin contract is here to stay. Contract reps are less expensive and as good as the direct hire reps no matter what anyone says. The rep comes down to the individual situation on performance.

I understand that you guys just got Onglyza to sell. I think this is a good sign that you will be kept.

I know you sell Bydureon but what is your third product? The third product could be the one that tells the outcome of the contract.

So what is the severance package going to look like?

This has to be your first rodeo, Severance Package?! it will be a simple teleconf. stating you have 2 weeks left to work and then ZERO $ , with maybe a few paid unused vacation days thrown in.. This is CONTRACT WORLD...no cushy 6 month package because we're nice
