Amneal

I don't understand why people are so surprised when people leave. This is a pretty crappy company compared to what is out there. We are on a ship that does not have a competent captain. You will see that when Crexont's numbers start coming out. Most people that are good are looking, it just takes time. The vacancies don't surprise me at all based on who I am talking to. Most smart people are trying to move on before the big date when Rytayr goes generic next year.

The only people that are surprised are Kelly and Helen. They think they are so awesome that they can’t fathom why people would leave them.

Well, that was a fun 2 weeks. With Vyalev launching there will be a huge push by Abbvie. This is now what all my MDS and other neuros will be focused on. Crexont will be a distant memory and you can forget about Ong getting any traction. The launch of this drug and or the Mitsubishi one were my signals to move on and so I will begin the search. The clock is now ticking (if you have t already been put on a plan). This will stunt our launch and we will reach our ceiling a lot quicker and lower than anticipated

Be careful when you start looking. I know that Helen prevented me from getting an interview. She is actually talking to some of our competitors about them hiring Amneal employees. She won’t let you go unless she wants you gone. Sicko!

Interviewing for Amneal, what do I need to know about the company and worries reps have? Please honest feedback
Leadership is very much based on micromanagement. Calls per day. First call last call. Reach and Frequency. It’s all about checking boxes. If you do not make goal for 2 quarters in a row you will be looked at. 3 quarters in a row means you will be put on an Action Plan. After that you’ll be done. Making Goal is not easy to do. There is no rhyme or reason to it. They *say* it’s based on previous quarters plus a growth number. That growth number is very fluid and subject to playing favorites which they do. i dont think more than a third of the Nuero team makes goal every quarter. On the endo side that number is greater but the drug is about to crash.
Your managers are in fear for their jobs thus rule by fear. Even the good ones are being squeezed. Finally, there is no future here. There is nothing sustainable in the pipeline. Our recent launch in Neuro will do well for those who have active MDS’. But once Rytary goes generic and the sub q’s come out it’s going to be a nearly impossible drug to sell.
I know this is not a rosy picture but it’s an honest one. As a new hire you will get *some* grace but not for long.
