A lot of companies won’t reimburse for a car over 5 years old. Be aware of the requirements before you buyNo need to buy an expensive car. I’m getting an 800 dollar hooptie and will make money on the car allowance.
Will we be required to carry samples? I have a refurbished 2 seater roadster Triumph that I plan to drive.
Nope. Scheduled med.
I just got myself a Honda Ruckus. 114mpg. I'll be winning on the mileage reimbursement.
Okay cool. It’s paid for so I’ll just bank the auto reimbursement. Get 38 mpg so good there as well. Goal is to pad the bank account for my next car purchase. Hopefully by then I’ll have my masters degree also paid for by Sage and can land something big totally outside of pharma.

Hell yeah best part of pharma is landing a job like this where we get paid to do disease state knowledge and steal a free pay check for 6 months before product is launched. I’ll double dip for 4-5 months and use current company car when I do have to get out in the Sage territory. Life is good people!
And there's the joke "before the product is launched". Do you not think that a lot can happen in the next 6 months? Good luck with that double dipping when Sage starts doing W-2 checks on dual income earners. This ain't something new to organizations and they have ways of finding out who is gainfully employed while taking a salary elsewhere.
IRS does not provide W2's, nor will a background check be able to produce a W2.
Employers can definitely do a VOE (verification of employment) with your last employer and they can legally tell them your first and last days of employment as well as if you are still on payroll. I have heard of people losing both jobs that way!

VOE is definitely a real tactic now a days when hiring , especially in Pharma. It's done at our company and it has come into play several times when on-boarding for a launch at risk or pending approval, especially when hiring folks ahead of either of these scenarios and paying them to prep for launch and/or PDUFA date/approval. Companies know the double-dipping game now and have wised up to protect themselves financially as well as from a liability standpoint.
Anybody hear anything new? I submitted background check and haven’t received anything on next steps (drug test, I9, etc..) any insight?
Oh please Ms Manager save the BS. Reality is situations like this are taylor made for the double dip 2 step. Ain’t no way to prevent it so stop trying on here. It’s the smart play and too easy not to pull off
I was told there is no drug test, just a background check. I have signed everything except upload my Covid card. Tbh I can’t find it anywhere. Never thought I would need it at this point.
go to a provider who gives vaccines they should be able to make you a new card hassle free. They looked me up in a system to verify and made me one right in the office.
