This is going on at 95% of big pharma companies, GSK is no better or worse!

but those companies weren’t pushing reps to go out during a pandemic. They treated their employees better and cared about their safety

I’m averaging about 2 HCP’s a week. This is just ridiculous! How much longer can this possibly go on? Zero job satisfaction with a good pay check and benefits. I’m playing the game baby!!!

You sir/madam have it figured out. Good for you! Pharma sales is simply a job you do until you figure out what you wanna do. 10 years of brainless hide and seek catering is too long, but at least you have an exit strategy, where you'll come out better than you went in with. Most old timers make just enough for the little work to keep them on the company crack! Funny thing is, if they improved themselves while faking calls all those years, they could have retired younger with more money for retirement. Pharma sales is a dead end path, and has been for more than a decade.

Well. I think that that it doesn't fall on GSK in its entirety. Meaning, if contact tracing is good and it is your out of office behavior that got you infected (most people in doctors offices are fully masked (covering nose and mouth) and we don't shake hands anymore) then it is on us, not on GSK or any other matter. However, lets keep everything closed and see how long we can survive. Who is John Galt?

Spot on my friend. During my years at GSK I did 10 years, Tues-Weds-Thurs 10 am - 1:00 pm. Didn't work a Monday or Friday for 10 years, except for an occasional meeting. The other 3 days no more than 3 hours, unless my manager was with me once every 8 weeks. Won Presidents Club, then Diamond Tiered when we went to GSK twice. Completed the ELD program, Tons of accolades for hard work etc., pure comedy! On the way out the door I got me a sweet Advair Bonus by turning it in to the authorities for being pushed for Mild Asthma.
