...the writing is on the wall, PC Reps...literally ON THE WALL at ASSFIELD HQs in Ivyland PA. The recruiter room has the "BI Resp" cities written on the wall of the recruiters' office. It's a new contract & they are going to be recruiting soon, to replace all of the BI PC reps that are about to be let go. Almost every major market is affected.

Indeedy its true. Go right to career builder.com. Ashfield RESPIRATORY PCP and guess what PULMs. NJ, CT Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn. NO ONE is SAFE HERE. Dam the company wont wait till we get severance before they allow Ashfield to post.

Indeed it is true. Go to careerbuilder.com. Ashfield PCP and PULM that's right NO ONE IS SAFE HERE. Positions in CT, NJ, Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn. Dam the company wont even wait for us to learn of our fate. This tells me they want many of us completely OUT.

Wow they are looking for people that have EXPERIENCE with Pulms and Allergists. Guess they feel that someone with a little more than two years experience can sell better than someone with 10 years selling to the specialists. This is going to be a blood bath, and the faucet is starting to get ready to turn on.

think back, Kelli D says BI will "be able to flex with the market". FKEX = layoff fast & easy. If Ashfirld is hiring Resp teams in all major markets, that means mostly ALL existing direct hire Resp sales jobs are done. BI will be able to end a sales contract much cheaper thru a contract than with direct hires. Contract is cheaper, plus no severance when they need to trim/"flex". All PC & PULM SPEC Reps are done. Ashfield is hiring dozens of reps across the country in all major markets. Get looking now, it can take 4-6 months to land your next gig!

That's amazing that they posted the Ashfield positions before even letting us know what the BI territories will be. I thought it would be at least after the 1st.

I just saw these positions over on their website. Considering there are current Ashfield reps in place at BI, I have to believe the OP is dead on. I may have thought these were for GSK if I did not know they are using inVentiv. BI is classless.

OP here. Re: the quote above, it's not "amazing", just disrespectful & even cruel. At this point, the 1st of July is going to be the date we're all done. BI logically needs to get a contract force up & running before the 1st. Ashfield reps will be hired & trained in April/May & will be in the field by the time the rest of us get our pink slip. For anyone still actually calling on accounts & "trying" to do their job, time to pull your head out of the sand & find a position with a future. The Resp division for sure is being dismantled. I'm now thinking it's going to be sold off in the near future. There's no profit in an end-of-patent primary care drug with many competitors. Way higher margins in biologics & treatments for ONC & Rare Disease.

Is this for spiriva promotion only or does it include stiolto?

Based on that dumb question you are outta here. Really? First off we don't know if it's BI. 99.9% it is. But really if they are canning us yeah think a contract will have 1 product? Oh and they will give 1 to BI reps. Too much.
