Alabama takes #1 spot

HAH! :D

I told you that Arkansas wasn't for shit! The clown brigade from LA Monroe pulled a can of whoop ass on 'em!!! HAH! #8 my ass! Like I said from the start - Arkansas should have been #28 and next week #40 behind Boise. For Christ sakes, Boise would have skunked LA Monroe!! Why did you folks doubt me? Maybe next time you'll listen!!

Once a pig...always a pig. Sooie sooie.

You are correct about Ark and being ranked #8 no way but even a bigger joke was Michigan being ranked #8 last week, they struggled with Air Force.Alabama is good but Michigan is lousy.

Yes. And I told you that Michigan was an egg sucker too and never belonged @ AP #8. Air Force almost pulled one off and beat Michigan yesterday.

The State of Arkansas must have it's head hung in shame today.

I agree w/ libluvs. It has to be a Arkansas coaching problem. The personnel on the team just doesn't account for the ass whoopin' Arkansas took yesterday. I watched some of the replays of Tyler Wilson getting hammered in the backfield. Good Christ. I grimaced watching some of those hits. They practically knocked his sorry ass into the State of Oklahoma.

Alabama is not only good. They're damn good. And after watching USC yesterday I have second thoughts as to whether Kiffin could whip 'em. I'm not taking anything away from Syracuse because their team isn't halfway bad. But I'm not convinced that USC would have the staying power against a big time team. I guess we'll find out when they play Oregon. But we'll have to wait a while. I don't think Stanford will pose much of an obstacle for them next week tho.

What really added insult to injury is the fact that LA Monroe stomped Arkansas' ass in front of 100,000 Razorback fans in Little Rock! :D

That's like the guy next door who's on food stamps buys a nicer car than yours and then walks into your home and takes a leak on your living room rug!!!

Man oh man. The state of Louisiana must be celebrating today!

Hindsight is always 20/20 but I bet ol' Tyler Wilson is just kicking himself in the ass today for passing up an early NFL draft option. There's probably a woman behind his decision. Some little Razorback cutie probably begged him to stay @ Arkansas and promised him all the poon-tang he could handle. That decision cost the poor kid millions of dollars and maybe even an NLF career if the injuries are bad enough.

One of the hallmark rules of life is this: NEVER EVER EVER EVER LOOK A GIFT HORSE IN THE MOUTH!! :)

Agree, always take the cash. Got a buyout proposal from a former company yesterday, on a pension I didn't know I had, until two years ago. I am taking the lump sum, because even with the 20% hit and the liability later, I can pay off my house. Like Matt Leinert, he could very well regret going back to school.

Bronco, I got to admit that I was wrong and you were right about Arkansas. I totally agree with you that the Arky O-Line should have protected Tyler Wilson better than they did. Libs is totally correct about John L. Smith being a horrible coach. John L. Smith before the season filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, I am sure that has been distracting for him. I mistakenly bought into the Arky hype that just because Bobby Patrino is gone they still were going to be a really good team. Arkansas was the most hyped team in the SEC before the season started so I followed the crowd on that one.

There is really no one truly dominant team in College Football right now. We are already two weeks into the season and there still is a whole lot of questions. USC looked good yesterday against Syracuse but did not totally dominate Syracuse like they should have. Oregon will probably beat USC. They look really good. BAMA looked good yesterday but have not had a really really tough opponent yet. The starting BAMA QB AJ McCarron got sacked 6 times. Michigan played like crap against Air Force.

Yesterday the Big 10 went 0-3 against the PAC 12. The PAC 12 looked really good yesterday with Arizona beating Okie State, UCLA beating Nebraska and Oregon State beating Wisconsin.

The SEC is in state of flux this year. Teams that use to be good are horrible like Auburn. Teams that have recently had bad seasons look good like Tennessee and Miss State. Florida looks improved compared to the past two years.

I will post the weekly round up in a few hours. I don't want to even look at my pics. I know I am on the bottom this week.

I was partying with a bunch of Gator fans for the game yesterday, and they were so negative about everything and anything. I saw some playing like shit, but nothing that could not be fixed. Driskel has skills, he just needs to get rid of the ball sooner. The O-line needs to step it up and give him the time. Once the defense showed up at the stadium at halftime, we looked much better. I think my Gators will improve as the season goes on...we won't be great, but not as dismal as most want to make it.

Like Matt Leinert, he could very well regret going back to school.

Matt Barkley from USC too! He could've been making a few $mil$ this year in the NFL. But he wanted to roll the dice for a Heisman trophy. That's fine. But he never knows what's going to happen on the next play. Blitzing linebackers want to take his fricken head off. It only takes one good hit and the season is over and his market value goes WAY WAY DOWN! Tyler Wilson learned the hard way.

Me? I would take the $3M and never look back. A bird in the hand is always better than two in the bush!
