Well, I just cross referenced the names of the Razorbacks arrested (Wade, Humphrey, Peterson, Gilbert, Peacock and Whitehurst) with the official Razorback roster at the official website. The only one on the roster that I could find was Jason Peacock who was reportedly only charged with buying gas with a stolen credit card. I think he deserved a second chance since that is not really a serious crime. There is no reason to ruin that kid's college career for that. So I am glad he is on the roster. Even Whitehurst who was reportedly caught with a baggie of weed by the po-po. I think it is ridiculous that he wasn't given another chance too. Smoking a joint should be no more serious than drinking a beer. Absurd. I was mainly concerned about the 2 who were both charged with 9 counts of residential burglary. Those are serious. They are not on the roster. So it appears that the new Razorback Coach Smith is a pretty tough guy. I don't see how the loss of those players won't affect the Razorback season. Therefore, I question their #8 ranking in the AP polls. And I think the Crimson Tide will beat them as bad as they beat Michigan.

I've been quite honest about Boise St.
IMO Boise doesn't even belong in the top 40 this year. Boise is still ranked #25 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The only reason they are that high is due to last year's team. They are riding on their glory days of the past. Coach Peterson needs a good couple recruiting years to strengthen his offense.
Michigan State moved from #13 to #11 after barely beating Boise by 4 lousy points. Boise was ahead all the way to the beginning of the 4th quarter even with their crappy offense. Michigan State should be ranked about #30 in the nation. Being #11 is a gift. No way do they keep it. Notre Dame will slaughter them.
Arkansas doesn't belong at #8. No one can justify that.

I see Arkansas has 13 returning starters. That's not bad at all. But the question is how much did Petrino's firing and the 5 players getting kicked off the roster impact the team? I think Alabama blows them off the field at home.

Tyler Wilson (Arky Starting QB) was knocked out in the 2nd Quarter. They are saying it is a broken clavicle and he could be out for 4-5 weeks. I don't think you could have anticipated or predicted this would happen? Wilson was as important to Arky's offense as Kellen Moore was to Boise State's offense last year. He is one hell of a QB and took a major hit.
Wilson didn't just take one shot. He took multiple shots because the Arkansas offensive line couldn't stop the LA Monroe defenders. A good offensive line is supposed to keep the defenders off it's QB. And, obviously, Arkansas' defense was unable to stop LA Monroe's offense since they scored over 4 times and accumulated more points than Arkansas did.
A team is made up of many more players than just a QB.
LA Monroe (a 4th rate team) beat Arkansas fair and square. Let's just admit it and stop making excuses for them, okay?
As I said multiple times under this thread - Arkansas never belonged in the #8 AP ranking slot. Not by a long shot.
Let's all acknowledge what is.

John L. Shit is this year's Arkansas coach. I watched his tired act and inability to get his team ready to play, for three long years at Michigan State. We had possibly the best college coach (Saban) and definitely the worst (John L.) in a 10 year period.

You are correct about Ark and being ranked #8 no way but even a bigger joke was Michigan being ranked #8 last week,they struggled with Air Force.Alabama is good but Michigan is lousy.
