If the full title is Key Account Executive then it is not a very good position. You will be calling on existing accounts and trying to keep them. Labcorp is notorious for terrible service and lack of internal support. Even if you do your best, the competition (granted their rep works equally as hard as you) will always win since their service will be better. Get used to saying sorry to accounts and fighting with people who work for the same company you do.

You will have a new sale quota, but your time will be spent putting out fires not calling on new prospects. You won't ever hit your new sales numbers and will experience extreme frustration within 6 months.

Unless you are desperate for a job, don't take this one. It is not a real medical sales job. This is a service job that is nearly futile. You will not get to talk to doctors, typically only front office personnel and maybe a nurse if Labcorp screwed up bad enough.
 






More realistic from the previous poster you have a book of business worth X Your challenge is to retain your business and also grow the revenue by 4-5 K a month, The reality is, that third part reimbursements are being lowered so you are behind before you even start. You are still required to make that number Its a no win situation right now

Do you remember if he/she said it was a Physician Account Executive or a (Specialty) Account executive? The base will be 60-70K if that is the case with another 40-50K at plan, but this is NOT gauranteed.
 






























I reached out to people in the KAE, SME, and SDE roles to ask what the deal was. One said its not that bad but you will work hard, kiss ass, and occasionally get yelled at for things outside your control. One skipped the KAE role completely. They didn't tell me to run for the hills, but I still don't know if this is a viable company to work for long term. Best way to find out is interview with the RMBD and see if they are cool. Do a ride along and talk to the rep. Lab sales is kind of dead IMO, no real growth.

I wonder why I find it so appealing for me to provide my mouth to the pleasure of my KAE. I do not receive any physical stimulation from it, yet the emotional gratification of it is quite intoxicating.

I think it is the sensory overload of the whole experience. The sight of that lovely oriffice, just center enters away from your face, to see it glisten, the aroma, the sweet and salty taste, the smoothness and squishiness on the tongue, there's really nothing quite like it. The feel of the rhythmic movements of your partner as they adjust and respond witha silliness as they roll in throes of passion as they respond to your actions. It's really quite exquisite

Dude.. The test is pretty easy! It's 4th grade arithmetic, word association, and a personality profile. Every company uses these tests except for the math part, which is pretty simple.
