Acclarent

Who could I contact regarding sales with Acclarent?

Does anyone know about this company? Planning to interview with them in the next few wks. What can u expect first year comp? Lots of the other j and j companies seems to be lowering comp. So is this going to happen here too? What is the future look like? Management op?

I want to get out of EWHU any advice? I have a proven record, and my RBD just quit, so I have a really good shot at any positions. What do I need to do to be a serious candidate. EWHU is going to fold this year.

2011 will be a make or break year for the company. Performance was OK but not amazing in 2010. If the same thing happens this year, comp/heads will probably be cut, leadership reshuffled, etc. etc. etc.

Product is good and competition is very weak. Pay is almost certainly much higher than you're seeing now. If you're part of JnJ, Acclarent is probably the best place to be, you poor bastard!

2010 sales were awful at Acclarent. Only a few reps made quota. J&J is just adding average reps, cutting territories, and cleaning house...Management on down. People at J&J keep thinking they're going to make start up money-those days are done.

Q1 was best on record since 2009. In-office balloons will be strong this year. 7 new products coming this year. JNJ is still leaving management alone. Cutting territories does not effect compensation if you know anything about the way payout is done. Still the best place to be in the ENT service. Be prepared to work hard. If you are looking for a cakewalk then don't bother.

They had to make our quotas attainable for Q1 or else everyone would have left-yes happy to make money again (For Q1) but we don't have quotas for the year. Management should be worried they look like assholes to J&J for last year's sales (Q1 was to save face and management jobs). Territory spilts will change compensation and threats of plan are not motivating. Haven't had a new product in over a year-Sentry is not a new product. Working hard for a lot less pay over the long run. J&J employees seem to like to jump from division to division and really seem lazy. Give it 6 months and this will be the cakewalk you mentioned and this Company will be full of J&J has-beens from the other divisions who heard about the good old days (which they couldn't have hacked) and lured because of an ipad.

What flavor is that kool-aid you're drinking? You must be one of our weak Acclarent managers who has never made a number (yes I'm talking to you) yet still managed to get promoted (sometimes even TWICE-Salkeld). JNJ isn't leaving management alone this year-keep hiding behind Q1-how are your Q2 numbers looking? Down? In-Office? No reimbursement? That slippery slope has already started. Sadly, you are such a poor manager that you can't see that one good quarter is hardly the redemption you'll need to save your ass this year. Best year on record since 2009? (did you hurt yourself typing that?) JNJ is finally starting to ask the right questions ABOUT management.

What managers do you reccomend avoiding?

A shell beaten down by Acclarent and then JNJ-still an asshole, but if you know him you know that about him. Still threatening plan to try and show he has any control. Humiliating to get passed over as VP for Salkeld. He may have been a something at Acclarent, but JNJ thinks he's toxic...tic toc....

How long for tic toc? Going to throw a party!!!!!
