Bottom line , it really is a huge negative to try and grow a pharma company out of DFW , especially with such a focus by managers / VPs whatever at the home office on the local market which in NO WAY represents the greater pharma market USA . TX has great RX coverage ( best in nation ) and people making 35 k willing to splash on every A/C drug we carry . Not a good cross section of total market and leads to TX market decisions that don't translate well across state lines .
I am not sure where this silly thread about Texas started. The company used to be a premier company in Derm the other notable company was Medicis and they had been in Phoenix AZ. So this East Coast and West Coast thing is a moot point for a specialty like Derm. The real issue is the weak leadership and the complete draining of the talented but lets admit outspoken people who had been kicked out of here the last several years. If Humberto was smarter and willing to listen to those folks we would not be in this mess. He should recontact some of the people who left that built this thing to a billion dollar company prior to FF and prior to the investment in aesthetics. Not an easy task and we used to have people who could make it happen and still support the sales team. Those days are long gone and so are the quality people who made that happen not just management but huge brain drain in rep talent as well. Now listless middle managers like CS and KS. Really?
