How is the managed care situation for Vascepa? What is sales strategy when main competitor is over the counter products? Thank you for any input and help. I am trying to decide whether or not to apply.

Managed care will always be an issue no matter the drug you promote. It's good, not great but not horrible either. Main competition being supplements and generic Omega 3 will always pose a threat but we have a different product that shows significant CV benefit where those other options have failed to show. Not hard to sell doctors on the why. The real problem is managed care trying to sub it out, and pharmacists trying to make better margins on the others. Its gonna happen. Still it's an easy product to sell in my opinion. Alot of excitement around our data.

There are some positions posted for entry level reps and some posted for more experienced. The salary varies. For those who have been in the industry a long time, welcome to the re-emergence of pod selling. UGH!

I know some reps are doing very well in the 20+ per quarter range. But those are reps that basically had to grow from nothing (new territory with low volume starting out). Most people will do 100% of their quota. It is uncapped and they do have contests each quarter.
