is the base salary negotiable on a contract?

This will be my 3rd contract with Q, they dont negotiate on salary (even for dms). Whatever they offer is based on primarily the budget for the contract and you might get 1-3 k more on base if you're experienced vs relatively new to pharma.

A friend who interviewed Monday was called this morning, and was told she did not get the job. I would think they would call the rep who got the job first and her second.

I interviewed in CA on Tuesday, have not heard anything positive or negative yet...

Interviewed with RSD on Tuesday in Boston. Emailed Q recruiter yesterday - she said feedback has not come back yet. RSD interview went fine but who knows. Getting this far and then not getting it wouldl be a killer - as bad as it gets.

Nothing yet..maybe it's a Friday thing. I don't want to wait the whole weekend - it's either awesome.. one finally goes in your favor - or damn, back to looking. And I'm tired of the phrase "it's just a numbers game" - even though I use the phrase myself.
