I dont believe it is canceled. As of yesterday, interview were going to proceed as planned. First of all there is a class action law suit so that could prolong the buying process for Forest. Second, Forest can choose to go with a specialty sales force via Quintiles. There is no way that Quintiles is just calling it off 1 day later. They are going to proceed next week and have reps ready to start for Forest if necessary.

Received e-mail that the entire contract has been cancelled, blah, blah, blah.

Not sure why you are having a hard time digesting this. Forest purchased the company/product and they have zero use for a contract sales force when they were about to lay off reps as the result of Lexipro going generic.

I want nothing to do with working with Forest on any level anyway.
 












Google the information. On Feb.22 Forest Labs bought Clinical Data Trovis, Viibryd). i think for 200 million cash. Forest has 3000 reps already in place. They do not need a contract company. They know that Viibryd will be a 2 Billion dollar business. Forest will probably owe Q several million for breaking the contract. So those of us who need a job, need to move on.
 






New poster wading into the discussion... I also had an interview scheduled for Tuesday March 1st w/ two DM's, one Quintiles, one Trovis. The Quintiles DM called me today and explained that the contract has been cancelled, no more interviews, no more job. She was a very straight shooter from the beginning and was forthcoming throughout the process. Therefore, it is over ladies and gents. No #6460, no interviews, etc. If you haven't heard yet you should very soon. I'm bummed too, the Trovis DM I talked with seemed to be a guy who "gets it".
 






Well I am disappointed to see that the contract is frozen aka. Over but I was to have my final next week and I am just glad to know that was one of the final two for the position and taking this momentum forward into the other interviews. So chin up chest out keep going daily affirmation and good luck.
 






Just wanted to say I'm sorry to all of those who had started the interview process, only to have it shut down. The entire interview process sucks, and to have been so close has to be extremely frustrating. Good luck to all of you in the future.
 






I just got my e mail from the Quintiles manager saying the project was halted. Well, I will keep on looking and hopefully something will come up. Good luck to every one who was so close to getting this job.
 


















How much do you wanna bet that Quintiles knew full well about the Forest buyout and signed the contract anyway? Great way to make a few mil on the contract settlement without actually having to go to the trouble and expense of hiring anyone.

Quintiles...a contract sales company that doesn't hire salespeople. What a business concept!
 






The Forest Deal was in the works for atleast six months, if not a year, waiting for FDA approval. Q was a fall back position for Clinical Data. Forest is going to put on thousands of their reps on Virbryd. The thought that Clinical Data was only going to put 150 reps to sell a new AD? Total joke! And if people who interviewed for this job were not smart anough to listen to what Clinical Data said on the conference call after Viibryd was approve, and understand that 150 reps for a new AD was a joke, than they deserve to be disappointed.

Does anyone know if Forest is also going to take on all of the newly hired Trovis employees? The sales manager was really nice!
