The info on Forest and Clinical Data is comfirmed on thier web sites, I have not received anything from Q, and the jobs are still up on Q's job board. Not saying that they will not be taken down and an email from Q is not on it's way, but as of now, nothing.
Does anyone have interviews for this contract today or in the next few days? Let us know if they are cancelled or what was said during the interview about the status of the contract. I emailed my recruiter and received an auto reply stating he was out of the office interviewing.
According to Yahoo finance there are 2 lawsuits pending to block this transaction. Could that help Quintiles move forward with the contract?
I got the confirmation over the weekend that I was moving on to the final round. It was going to be with the Trovis manager and Quintiles recruiter. That was to happen in the next 2 weeks. Now I read that Forest Labs is buying Clinical Data. I would not mind working for Forest but I hope that this contract is not over before it even begins. I really like the project and the medication. I have sold CNS for a long time and love the sell.
I have not heard anything form the recruiter on this and I am nervous to call and ask.

I'm in the exact same position...just got the call this weekend to move to final interview. I seriously doubt Forest is going to use Quintile contract reps. They are getting ready to lay off some of their own...why wouldn't they just keep them and save on unemployment/Cobra cost. I am not very hopeful that this contract will continue on. I emailed my recruiter, but haven't heard anything back....
I thought that a buyout was possible, but I had no idea a big Pharma company like Forest Labs would buy them out. This wouldn't of happened for any reason, they must of had some inside information that the potential for this drug would net huge billion dollar sales.
Lexapro is about to go off patent, Forest needed something.
I saw job postings for positions with Trovis Pharmaceutical (a subsidiary of Clinical Data and the makers of Viibryd). Does anyone know if these positions are still being filled or are ALL of the folks at Trovis Pharmaceuticals being laid off ????

I can tell you without a doubt that Forest will NOT go with a contract company to promote anything they have. Lexapro goes off patent soon, so Forest reps will gladly take this one over. All the reps have established relationships with psychs and have been calling on them since the days of Celexa in many cases. This is an obvious fit for them. Already have too many reps there anyway. Sorry. I was looking forward to this one, too.
