Why are you so mean? I am not mean to you, only truthful. Why do you hate Jesus?
What Would Jesus Do (about climate change)?

Updated data from NASA satellite instruments reveal the Earth’s polar ice caps have not receded at all since the satellite instruments began measuring the ice caps in 1979. Since the end of 2012, moreover, total polar ice extent has largely remained above the post-1979 average. The updated data contradict one of the most frequently asserted global warming claims – that global warming is causing the polar ice caps to recede.
The timing of the 1979 NASA satellite instrument launch could not have been better for global warming alarmists. The late 1970s marked the end of a 30-year cooling trend. As a result, the polar ice caps were quite likely more extensive than they had been since at least the 1920s. Nevertheless, this abnormally extensive 1979 polar ice extent would appear to be the “normal” baseline when comparing post-1979 polar ice extent.
Now, in May 2015, the updated NASA data show polar sea ice is approximately 5 percent above the post-1979 average.
Did somebody ask this guy?
“I was at the table with three Europeans, and we were having lunch. And they were talking about their role as lead authors. And they were talking about how they were trying to make the report so dramatic that the United States would just have to sign that Kyoto Protocol,” Christy told CNN on May 2, 2007. – Alabama State Climatologist Dr. John Christy of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, served as a UN IPCC lead author in 2001 for the 3rd assessment report and detailed how he personally witnessed UN scientists attempting to distort the science for political purposes.
a REAL AMERICAN HERO in my book.
Besides, given your pro-global inclinations, it is somewhat confounding that you rail against globally-coordinated policy wrt mitigating / adapting to global warming / catastrophic climate change.
Quite the paradox.
Nice try Heartland Institute. Classic mistake and blatant inconsistency. The NASA data referenced is sea ice which is not the same as glaciers (land ice) which are what will and have caused issues with flooding. To deny this shows (willful) ignorance of the science.
If you want to read about science, stay away from those Forbes blogs and right-wing / conservative websites.
Stable Antarctic Ice Is Suddenly Melting Fast
Multiple glaciers, previously frozen solid, are adding vast quantities of water to the ocean

Most years, the heat kills more people in India than the cold. Of all natural event-related accidental deaths, only lightning kills more people than the heat in India.
Every year, somewhere in the region of 1,000 people die of heatstroke, largely during the month of May, according to National Crime Records Bureau data. Since 1990, nearly 20,000 people have died of heatstroke across the country, 1995 being the previous worst year with 1677 deaths.
You morons seem to have no knowledge of history.
It should make you ask yourself the question.... "Why does the media not put current events in some sort of historical context? Why do they act like this is new and never has it been worse than now?"
It's almost like they are pushing an agenda.
You are a denier. You only pay attention to the government shills and what they say. There are plenty of experts that prove quite the opposite.
To which "pro-global inclinations" do you refer?
I would NEVER coordinate with anyone or any country to combat a fairy-tale.
Nor would I coordinate to mitigate something which is NOT possible.
That is to say... I would not coordinate with The UN to battle/adapt/mitigate the changing seasons or the turning of the day to night or any other natural event of which I have NO control.
Let us play your game and assume that whatever it is that is going on is "Bad".
And you are GOD... as God, you can set the Global Thermostat to whatever temperature you want... what is the optimal temperature in which everything is "perfect"? That is to say, no more tornadoes, or floods or droughts or any other natural disasters. At what temperature should we set the Earth to achieve Utopia?
Can't wait for this BRILLIANT RESPONSE!
"Expert$" ca$hing check$ from $tatu$ quo intere$t$.
Since when did advocating for a change from destructive to regenerative habits qualify as calling for Utopia?

The status quo works.... Your government funded fairy tales do NOT, lest we forget about Solyndra. Seems to me, plenty are trying to Ca$H Check$ on the promise of fairy tales and fear-mongering.
Mark Fischetti, author of your linked article, has what educational background exactly?
It's not abundantly clear what his expertise is. Just a paid shill to advance the non-scientific agenda called global warming or climate change or some such silly non-sense.
No evidence of destruction and even less evidence of "regenerative habits" leading to Utopia.
So where to we set the thermostat?
Which thermostat?
You know it depends where you live on this planet and your genetics.
The question you should have asked: what CO2 level should we try to stabilize in the atmosphere?
Don't know how to use an Internet search engine?
Here, this one is a freebie - https://www.linkedin.com/pub/mark-fischetti/9/260/748
Because you name-dropped Solyndra, am I supposed to react like a child who just got caught with her hand in the cookie jar?
What Obama, his predecessors, and successors do are what all people in disproportionate positions of power with high political debts do.
Lest we not forget the trillions thrown at the fear-mongering military industrial complex since the 60s.
That IS your status quo.
The first step of any solution is problem identification.
The status quo IS the problem.
The structure and dynamics of American politics and federal government powers are STATUS QUO.
CEOs of large corporations earn 400 times what their workers make. That is not what America is supposed to be about. Power to the Worker!!
