$450mm settlement with DOJ?

A very informative letter was shared with five analysts on Wall Street this week, about our blogs on Cafe Pharma, as well as all of the corruption, greed, and negative shit that goes on at OCA. I have high hopes that this will move like wildfire through the investor communuty and help plummet the stock price. At this point, everything and anything will be done to bring this company to its knees.

The days are over for you cock suckers in management.

I don't think Wall Street really cares about Olympus' stock price in the U.S.
 












Olympus is a terrible place to work.
My wife absolutely hates Olympus and the bullshit they put the sales reps through. Many of us are depressed and burned out by the terrible sales organization.
Management increases their own pay and cuts sales pay. This happens over and over again. Management doesn't do a goddamned thing. What a joke!
 












I personally know that myself and two others should be clearing offers before Tuesday, so that will be three more resignations. I can't wait to see OCA meet their quotas without TM's in place. A buddy on the east coast told me that Julie Horning energy RVP in Michigan has had so many people quit that there are no actual Olympus TM's employed in her region, only 1099 distributors. That says it all. Let the bullet train out of Olympus Grand Central Station begin! What a shithole!
 


















What will fail? I think ET Sales have been a pain in Boston's ass for a while now, and its going to start to become a foot in their ass with the new products. Boston will still own the market share, but there are going to be some huge gains by Olympus the next 2 years, and that is not failure. Better products than Cook hands down, and its really not even close. Better products than Boston, outside of stents and maybe forceps (but those are a commodity anyway), but they just have contracts that will take some time to work through.

The portfolio is getting pretty damn close to being a full line, and the new products we've seen come out the past 2-3 years are no joke. They are well designed and and just need the right people behind them, and some domino's to fall with IDN's that Boston has been raping for too long. It is going to happen.

But keep on bitching and/or hating on Olympus if it makes you feel better. The only bitching that is legit is with the comp plan. NOT the product, at this point.

Good post. The comp plan is what is keeping you guys from getting top talent in the sales force. And not having top talent is keeping you from taking more market share. You will never really hurt BSX or Cook unless you start compensating and hire better people.
 






Many current Uro TM's are interviewing right now.
RVP's need to realize that extreme micromanagement and no pay equals leaving for another opportunity. URO TM's are through being fucked over!

It's not the products that turn into a bonus. It's the relationships I have with the doctors that are willing to push any product I ask them to into the hospital. Olympus can come out with a string and call it their new guide wire and my doctors would buy it because they want to see me succeed and do well.
So yes, I stand by my comment of olymous makes shitty "me too" products.

We in sales ALL love managements "tactic" of trying to blame one person on here for being the real problem. Management takes no responsibility for the terrible working conditions & morale within OCA.

The real problem is fake & phony management that does nothing to move the needle forward. Except taking more & more money out of sales pockets.

Olympus Urology will never become a leader under the current regime. You will have to start paying reps and valuing your employees.

The fact that you do not understand or respect this indicates an even bigger cultural problem within Olympus.

Expecting an offer Monday.
I'm not going to slam the company or anyone, but I will say that I'm witness to and aware of many employee depressive illnesses due to working under these conditions. Please people, if you are being treated poorly, stand up, interview, get an offer, and then do an exit interview and let HR know why you are leaving. That is the only way things will improve. Olympus has a ton of work to improve on how they treat their sales reps.
