I've been checking these Malinckrodt boards out for a few weeks and haven't seen a positive comment yet. Is it really that bad? Is there nothing good about this company?
I recently came on board as a hospital sales specialist, so I have not met nor worked with any of these OSS reps. But the former Cadence HSS reps I've met so far are pretty arrogant, petty and entitled. I'm sure there are good ones out there but right now my perception is skewed.
Taco Bella donde vas?
Truth hurts sometimes
Starting tomorrow, 4 months and counting.
Since the 6 Month thread I started, nothing has changed with the company except the whole MSL team bailed out of a burning plane. Sad when the VP of medical affairs has to send out a blanket email addressing the significant turnover in the division and how they are looking at how they can retain employees.
Well rumor has it we are close to a med for HSS. We have also been hearing that since last November at the NSM. Almost a year has come and gone, no new product, OSS booted, MSL team bailed, 11 new CAS and some HSS expansions filled. Doesn't sound like the goal of building a top Acute care team was achieved.
No new med in 4 months, we better be prepared.
Wow, I rest my case. You must be one of the former Cadence reps I was talking about. But I can't just leave, I need to give this job a fair chance. But I'm being real with myself on how life here will be tough. Just met with pharmacy at my top hospital today and Ofirmev was pulled from formulary in July. P&T will review again next year. My other hospitals are on the fence regarding that same decision. Then LEAVE! This post is nothing but bullshit. You are a disgusting liar and I would bet if you had anything to do with this company, you were one of those that had gotten layed off and are disgruntled. Go get a life. Worry about yourself and don't worry about anyone else. You sound like a total moron.
Yes MSLs tend to rotate at every company, but the rate and volume they're leaving from here is not typical. You started the 6 month thread...OMG...I would love to meet you as you are so smart and insightful!
MSLs jump ship all of the time at EVERY pharma company. Why? Because they are restricted on what they can actually do as well and it is VERY hard to understand their value to the organization.

I love it when you silly little lunch ladies try to think. You CLEARLY know nothing about the MSL role, so STFU and go feed the office cows.
The problem is that we do know what the role of an MSL is and most of us haven't seen that in five years.
The OSS reps were nothing but a very replaceable primary care sales division. No one stood out.
I'm ashamed that I have to call you my peer. I'm an HSS rep. Or should I speak your language: "mine are a HSS rep idiot!"This is why your are a primary care idiot and were laid off!!
Do not try and think too hard, dolt. Just get your unemployment check and go back to your trailer.
That's cute! A majority of us primary care idiots have since landed jobs with other companies with salaries equivalent to or better than HSS at MNK. And we're still collecting severance. And bonus was paid out today at 100% (or more). So with all that extra cash, I think I'll go upgrade my trailer to a double wide. This is why your are a primary care idiot and were laid off!!

Um OK, yeah whatever. I'm sure you landed a "big time" job selling blood pressure meds to PCP docs.
LOSERS!!
Ouch! Break out the lidocaine and aloe, because this was one sick ass 3rd degree burn!!Can't get any worse then selling over priced Tylenol to hospitals. Who's the one laughing now? Loser
It's not over priced!!! It's is way overpriced!!!Can't get any worse then selling over priced Tylenol to hospitals. Who's the one laughing now? Loser
