I feel very sad looking back at these predictions. Diabetes had numerous openings in 2012 and couldn't get any FTEs from biomeds to post. We took FDEs because we could not recruit full time talent from your business unit. Whether you were misinformed or hopeful for the future, the DBU had a business to run and in the absence of interest from you hired those who posted

The reason you couldn't get FTE's from biomed to post is because of a few reasons...mainly, directors and managers would not let people leave, particularly in NS. In my area, there were a few openings, but they were absorbed into existing territories, since the diab reps didn't have enough customers. So, please don't assume people didn't want to jump to diab. Maybe in your area that was the case but it wasn't the case everywhere.
