Is this Estelle from medical? She was supposed to be gone 3 years back when medical started reporting into commercial but somehow wiggled herself a job and bought her a lot of time that others did not have. German head of medical. Time to hire American.First SVP gone…. Bye Bye Estelle
What about Tania Small? Is she gone too? She is not good either and was hired by lurch last year to be salesy medical and replace Estelle.First SVP gone…. Bye Bye Estelle
Heard it was unorganized and an awful experience. No one cares except the validators at our insane trainings who cant sell themselves but their big old egos get to grade us on something they cant do. What a load of crap.
Heard it was unorganized and an awful experience. Terrible, Imagine taking a math test and you get the answer correct but its wrong to some dopey manager or RMK. The leaders of CV are so bad.
Celmods are late in the game. In a world with generic lenalidomide, Dara and other J&J drugs, these are not even close to being blockbusters.Hem/onc: How does any (realistic) sequencing of that cel mod development pipeline make a profit?
Truth everyone is leaving. Morale is awful. The culture is at an all time low in CV. Reps are leaving so fast anyway. The leadership in CV is a disaster.
CV has a really good competitor coming soon that is going to take as much as the top talent away as they can. The rest will retire..bare bones, natural attrition that they are creating.
If you believe a single word coming out of the mouth of a BMS manager you are a Mark and deserve the inevitable layoff that is coming your way.Everyone take a deep breath! My manager told us the sales force will not be targeted for layoffs. She stated we need to just focus on our sales skills.
Unless they are going to do a radical change like Bayer, by eliminating middle management, they can't cut 1B without touching field sales. I think the strategy at Bayer makes sense. Hire capable people and let them do their jobs. Good reps don't need coaching, metrics, and special committees to be effective. Think of all the money they are saving while keeping the people that are generating revenue. BMS needs to do something radical. If things continue like they have the last few years, they will find themselves in a death spiral. Employees are tired of taking on multiple projects that increase their workload without appropriate compensation or promotional opportunities. It's unfortunate that BMS is facing enormous headwinds all at once.Everyone take a deep breath! My manager told us the sales force will not be targeted for layoffs. The derm sales force has to be on the list. They slashed our budgets. Most reps are barely out in the field because the lunch budget was cut. But I am thankful that the speaker program budget was cut. It is such a waste of money.Unless they are going to do a radical change like Bayer, by eliminating middle management, they can't cut 1B without touching field sales. Your manager could be on the layoff list too and has no idea. This has happened several times in the last two years.Everyone take a deep breath! My manager told us the sales force will not be targeted for layoffs. She stated we need to just focus on our sales skills.
Well, there is ANOTHER was a company absorbs LOEs… it replaces the revenue with new products. But the leadership has made some head-scratching calls all the way back to the original Opdivo disaster, right through bungling the Celgene deal, an inability to commercialize Cell therapy at scale, and the TYK2 bad judgment calls. This didn’t have to happen.A company can’t absorb the LOEs we are facing without having to have reductions. People aren’t dumb and the ELT is doing the best it can. Bottom line is we have to right size given the amount of revenue we are going to lose. This isn’t the first company to be in this position. It won’t be the last. Get some perspective and stop the attacks.
That was horrible. No benefit at all not even realistic. No one cares except the validators at our insane trainings who cant sell themselves but their big old egos get to grade us on something they cant do. What a load of crap.
CV division needs to be on guard.Your manager could be on the layoff list too and has no idea. This has happened several times in the last two years.
BMS has a terrible track record of acquiring and integrating companies.Well, there is ANOTHER was a company absorbs LOEs… it replaces the revenue with new products. CV will be alright. Bet on it!CV division needs to be on guard.
glad they allow for early retirement so you can qualify to buy your medical, others before us were dropped completely and pushed into CobraI hope when they announce all future layoffs, they provide information on how to apply for unemployment and welfare. At the rate this company and country is laying off its people, majority of them will not land a job immediately.
