Poor ratings by Oncs

Whose fault is this? I do my calls and execute as I have been trained. Maybe training sucks. Maybe the promotional stuff is not what the doctors want, maybe we don't give them the studies they want. All I know I do my job best I can! You guys agree?

The rankings have more to do with how Docs perceive the company, rather than the individual rep. There has been 7 genetech reps in 3 years in my territory and 4 cannot get in to see the docs but their products are considered great. I asked about the ranking and one of my docs ranked companies a few years ago but nothing for the past couple of years. Hell, I dont consider myself the greatest sales person but docs do not more promo shit. Data drives it. Training is fine but completely unrealistic now.

I don't know, but the graph seems to indicate that we have actually improved quite a bit from 2008. I took that as a positve sign!

My man you had seven Genentech rep is three years because they took their money and got out. Ever since Roche took over, that place has become a horrible place to work and they can no longer attract top talent. Your N of 1 does not trump what 400 plus oncologists stated, that Eisai reps are bottom of the barrel. I mean seriously we have an old CTCL drug that no one cares about and we have Dacogen which is a dog. Sure this lowers an oncologists opinion of the reps who carry those drugs but the flip side is highly regarded, experienced oncology reps would not be caught dead working for Eisai or selling our dog drugs.
And sorry as great of a supportive care drug Aloxi is antiemetics do not get anyone excited, just like Fragmin never got anyone excited.

The best reps get hired by the best companies, who pay more, have better benefits and perks, and have potential big gains from the stock. Highly regarded oncology reps always follow big product launches or companies that pay well above the norm. It has always been like that since the days of bleo and adriamycin! If you don’t know this you are very green. Look at the Dendreon sales force, it is primarily made up of Genentech, Chiron, and Biogen reps and they didn’t even need to use recruiters as almost all were internal referrals! You slugs will never get how oncology really works!

Eisai offers nothing to attract top talent. Look around you. All the good MGI and Ligand people left a long time ago. The CCO people were glorified primary care reps with zero therapeutic oncology experience and most will go back into mass market or “hospital sales” roles. Most of the new people we have brought in either have been out of work for a long time and are desperate ie. not top talent, or are very new to oncology (or no oncology experience at all) and thought that working at “little” Eisai would be more laid back and less micromanaged than working at BIG Novartis. Guess they called that one wrong!

Why would anyone be surprised that Eisai ranked the lowest on a list of “top reps”!!!

If you disagree you have not been to ASCO or ASH in last five years. There is zero buzz about Eisai Oncology either form our clinicians or from oncology sales and marketing people. No one was breaking down the doors to come to Eisai to sell Halaven!

Boy, you are bitter! Just for the record there are a few old MGI/Esiai people working at Dendreon and they didn't come from your precious Genentech or Chiron(which you obviously came from, and they were never as good as you make them out to be). If you sold bleo or red death, then why the hell are you still at Eisai? Lighten up Leo! You aren't that good!

Um, loser, MGI paid us such a good salary that it has been hard the last few years to find "better" onc jobs. I have passed on Celgene, BiogenIdec (thank God), Amgen the last 4 years bc they wouldn't match my salary. So go fuck yourself.

I agree that MGI paid well. Not the best but certainly better than average. I call BS on you turning down Celegene based on salary as they have reps in the $150’s. I highly doubt you were based that high at MGI. If you were than good for you and the likelihood that you will get equal money somewhere else is 0%.

I agree Biogen would have been a bad move as would've Amgen, but if those are the only two looks you got, other than Celgene that ain’t saying much, and proves my point that MGI is not some sought after pedigree. Although, Amgen would be more up your ally as all you really are is a supportive care rep.

Lot’s of MGI reps at DNDN??? Try 3, and one of them, BM, is a former Chrion person and that was her hook up…so let’s call it 2 ½. GH and JH are very good reps and I’m not surprised they landed somewhere good like DNDN.

Go back to the kiddie pool where you belong as you are playing with the big boys now and no I am not at Eisai, and no I did not work for DNA or Chrion. I’ve been at this game a long time oh little one…

Then why the fuck are you on this board you fucktard. That is just like the High school quarterback reliving his youth. The more you post, the more you expose your self as a complete tool! You just outed yourself as a complete phony! A little douche that was bullied as a kid. You deserved your beat downs. Now go get my shine box!

Dude I agree with above poster. You sound lame and desperate to show how smart you are and you don't even work here. Go to your new company's board and rant there. You really are sad!
