Amid Opioid Crisis, Chicago Drug Sales Rep License Gains National Momentum

Almost one year after the city of Chicago implemented its ordinance requiring licenses for pharmaceutical sales representatives, the effort is gaining attention from federal and state lawmakers as one remedy to curtail opioid misuse and abuse across the country.
