Bayer study finds communication gap in managing chronic kidney disease in patients with type 2 diabetes

Bayer has released the results of a survey on chronic kidney disease associated with type 2 diabetes, in tandem with World Kidney Day.

The survey digs into the challenges healthcare providers face when it comes to chronic kidney disease in patients who also have type 2 diabetes — whether it’s diagnosing, managing symptoms or treating them. It included some 1,000 respondents comprising a range of healthcare professionals, including nephrologists, primary care physicians and nurse practitioners.
