Trump nominates Dr. Oz to lead Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services

President-elect Donald Trump announced Tuesday he would nominate television personality Dr. Mehmet Oz as Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) administrator.

Oz is most well-known for hosting the daytime television show “The Dr. Oz Show,” which focused on health and wellness, until he decided to run for the U.S. Senate as a Republican candidate in Pennsylvania in 2022.
