Syntropy, a Merck KGaA – Palantir JV aiming to apply big data to cancer research

Germany-based Merck KGaA today has announced a new joint venture with Palantir, a hi-tech company established by Peter Thiel, supposed to help the Darmastadt-based group implement new business patterns, such as big data. The new JV’s name is Syntropy. It aims at better understanding how cancer masses develop.
