Pfizer and Mylan: Is Mega-Merger on the Horizon?

The Wall Street Journal first announced the probable merger of Pfizer’s (PFE) off-patent business with Mylan (MYL) on July 27. This deal would likely result in a leading generic pharmaceutical company. If announced, this will be the third mega-deal in the pharmaceutical industry in 2019.
